Tamannaah Bhatia recently shared having mixed feelings about her performances in the chartbusters, 'Kaavaalaa' and 'Aaj Ki Raat'.
Tamannaah Bhatia has been ruling hearts with her electrifying dance numbers lately, but the actress recently opened up about her mixed feelings about her performances in two of her most talked-about tracks, Kaavaalaa from Jailer and Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2. While fans can’t get enough of her charm and killer moves, Tamannaah revealed she wasn’t entirely satisfied with her effort in Kaavaalaa but was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response to Aaj Ki Raat.
Tamannaah recently appeared for a candid chat with The Indian Express at Screen Live, ahead of the release of her latest work, Sikandar Ka Muqaddar. At one point during the conversation, the actor recalled the time she was asked to do Aaj Ki Raat in Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2. She shared:
“It took me a minute to figure out whether I want to do Aaaj Ki Raat or not because I just had a song (Kaavaalaa) that came out.”
Tamannaah revealed she wasn’t completely satisfied with her performance in Kaavaalaa from Jailer, despite its massive success. This led the actress to rethink whether she was up for another dance piece in Stree 2. However, she gained confidence after having a chat with Amar Kaushik. The Baahubali actress recalled:
“To be honest, I really felt that I hadn’t given Kaavaalaa my best. I felt like I could have done something better. When Aaj Ki Raat came along, Amar explained the whole story to me and said that I have to play and dance like Shama. He said, ‘You are playing a character, this is not going to be just another song.’ That gave me a little bit of food for thought, because I was like, ‘Yes, I can play this differently.’”
Fast forward to today, Aaj Ki Raat did not take long to become a smash hit after its release. Recalling the time, Tamannaah expressed that she was overwhelmed by the amount of love pouring in. The actress shared in the interview:
“I could not have imagined that this would be the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. I thought it would be like just a song that people would like. Nobody can imagine how much. So, I think I am blessed to get so much love from you guys.”
