Actor, Kalidas Jayaram tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Tarini Kalingarayar, on December 8, 2024. They got married in a private ceremony in the presence of their family members and loved ones in Thrissur at the Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple. Recently, the Natchathiram Nagargiradhu actor took to his social media handle and shared the gorgeous first photos of him with his now-wife, Tarini.
Kalidas Jayaram took to his Instagram handle and shared the beautiful pictures with his fans. Kalidas and Tarini looked gorgeous in the traditional ensemble. Tarini looked dazzling in a vibrant red and orange saree with golden work on the border. Her blouse had heavy embroidery, and she paired the look with a gold waistband.
Tarini layered a couple of necklaces, a bangle stack, gold rings, maang teeka and jhumkis. The diva completed her look with a gajra, gorgeous mehandi and soft makeup. Kalidas stunned his fans in a red dhoti paired with a matching angavastram with yellow accents. He completed the look with a silver watch. Kalidas shared the post with the caption:
"HITCHED."
Soon after Kalidas Jayaram shared the post, several celebrities and fans chimed in to wish the couple on their joyous occasion. They took to the comment section to congratulate the couple and showered the newlywed with good wishes. Former actress and director, Geetu Mohandas wrote, "Congratulations." Actress and model, Vedhika commented, "Congratulations. So beautiful." A fan also took to the comment section and wrote, "The cutest wedding pictures I’ve ever seen."
After the wedding ceremony, Kalidas's father, Jayaram Subramaniam, talked to the media and expressed his gratitude. In a chat with Mathrubhumi, the actor shared that he is very happy for his son. He expressed his delight over Kalidas marrying the love of his life, Tarini, with the blessings of Guruvayoorappan. Jayaram added that he was glad that people from all over Kerela came to bless the couple. He even recalled his own wedding thirty-two years ago. He shared:
"We are so happy. Especially, I am delighted that Kannan (Kalidas) tied the knot in front of Guruvayoorappan. The participation of the people and the support we received is beyond words. People came from all parts of Kerala. I am truly grateful that, just as people gathered to witness our wedding (with Parvathy) 32 years ago, they came to celebrate our son's wedding as well."
Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini Kalingarayar had an intimate wedding in Kerala on December 8, 2024. Kalidas Jayaram's father, Jayaram, and his wife, Parvathy, were among the attendees. Tarini's parents and A-listers, including Mohammed Riyas and Suresh Gopi, also reached the temple to bless the couple. Kalidas and Tarini got engaged in Chennai in 2023. Megha Akash, Aparna Balamurali, Sudha Kongara, and several others attended the ceremony.
