Munisha concluded by disclosing that the reason for postponing their marriage was also that their relatives are settled abroad. Earlier, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, they could not travel to India. She also talked about the most difficult task she has to do, bringing down their guest list due to the restrictions. She concluded:
"Unfortunately, our marriage had to be delayed not just once, but thrice due to the pandemic. Besides other relatives, Sam and my brothers couldn't have travelled to India amid restrictions. So, we had no choice except to postpone it. However, there has been a delay already, so we decided to tie the knot next month. It's great to see things finally falling into place. I would have ideally liked a grand wedding but have had to alter my plans because of COVID-led restrictions. Bringing down the guest list has been one of the most difficult tasks so far."
Earlier, Munisha had to postpone her wedding several times due to the pandemic. In an interview with ETimes TV, Munisha had stated that the second wave of COVID-19 had destroyed their plans of having a June 2021 wedding. Munisha had said:
"According to the original plan, Sameer and I had decided to exchange wedding vows on January 11, 2020. But it had to be postponed, as my sister-in-law was pregnant and my family members wouldn't have been able to make it. So, we got engaged on January 22 instead and finalised August 7, 2020, for the big day. That had to be pushed, too, because of the pandemic. We again zeroed in on a new date in June this year. However, we are stuck due to the second wave. Our families want us to settle down soon, as it has been more than a year since we got engaged. We will plan our wedding after things get better or early next year because most of our relatives are settled abroad."
We are excited to see Munisha and Sameer donning their wedding ensembles!
