Tanushree Dutta lashed out at Nana Patekar after the latter addressed their rivalry post 6 years and denied her allegations.
Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar's rivalry is known to everyone. It was back in 2018 when the actress accused Nana during the #MeToo movement and levied severe allegations against him. However, Nana kept mum on the ongoing controversy and didn't react to it until now. As the actor called Tanushree a liar, the latter also reacted to the same and lashed out at him.
In an interaction with The Lallantop, Nana Patekar reacted to the six-year-old allegations levied on him by Tanushree Dutta and called them a lie. He mentioned that people knew the truth so he didn't get angry about it. Talking about why he didn't address all those accusations before, Nana said that he didn't feel the need to clarify the buzz around the controversy because he knew the truth. He said:
"I knew that it was all a lie. That's why I didn't get angry. When everything was a lie, why should I be angry? And all those things are old. They have happened. What can we talk about them? Everyone knew the truth. What could I say at that time when nothing like this happened? Suddenly, someone says that you did this, you did that. What would I have answered to all these things? Should I have said that I didn't do this? I know the truth that I didn't do anything."

Now, in an interaction with Zoom, Tanushree Dutta reacted to Nana Patekar's claims and denial of her allegations of harassment against him. She called the actor a pathological liar and highlighted how the latter slapped a boy in Varanasi and made it look like a part of the shoot. However, when Nana was slammed for his actions, he apologised halfheartedly. Talking about the same, Tanushree said:
"How big a liar Nana Patekar is the whole world knows now after the Varanasi boy slapping incident during the shooting of Anil Sharma's film. Nana first tried to make it look as if slapping the kid was part of shoot and then he got severe public backlash for trying to cover up his abuse. Then he suddenly took a U-turn and apologised halfheartedly."
Tanushree was asked why Nana Patekar took six years to respond to her #Metoo allegations, and she said that the latter knew that she had been contemplating another FIR on him. Recalling how she was stalked wherever she went and was harassed by unknown groups of people, Tanushree added that a lot of weird things happened to her in the past few years. In her words:
"Because he knows that I may be contemplating another FIR on Nana for conspiracy to murder, criminal intimidation and threat, stalking and causing physical harm. I went through severe harassment by unknown groups of people during the last few years. I was followed and stalked by strangers wherever I went. There were a few attempts to corner me and manipulate me into dangerous situations with strangers too. A lot of weird stuff kept happening to me and around me and all of these people seemed like hired goons."
She further added that Nana spoke up now because he is scared and his supporters have sidelined him. She added that people can now understand Nana's manipulations and many directors have called him out in the past. Tanushree mentioned how people highlighted Nana's abusive behaviour on the set, and even Dimple Kapadia once called him obnoxious. She added:
"Now, he is scared and his supporter base in Bollywood has dwindled. All those who supported him are either bankrupt or have sidelined him. People can see through his manipulations now and thus he comes up with another major gaslight. Responding to a six-year-old allegation! Every director he has ever worked with has a story to tell about his manipulative and abusive behaviour on the set. If he can slap and hit directors then misbehavior with women is no big deal for him, don't you think?? Even Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia called him obnoxious in a viral Youtube interview. So many people cannot lie. Nana Patekar himself is the liar."

When Tanushree was asked if she regretted doing that song and dance in the film, Horn OK Please, she said that it was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She shared that her biggest regret is that she agreed to do a song with a flop character artist who was finished professionally. Elaborating more on the same, Tanushree said:
"I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. My biggest regret in life is to agree to do a song with a flop character artist whom no one cared about and who was finished professionally. My biggest professional mistake was agreeing to work with this characterless evil loser! Today the whole of Mumbai knows how I was framed and mentally tortured by this Nana Patekar. He is getting exposed totally even in his own circle...thus this is his way to cover up another scandal...one that involves a conspiracy to finish me off."
