To mark Krishan Kumar and Tanya's daughter, Tishaa's 21st birthday, the doting mother penned an emotional birthday wish.
Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Tanya Singh and Krishan Kumar, passed away on July 18, 2024, due to a prolonged illness. The sad and untimely demise of the 20-year-old left everyone in shock. The void that she created in the hearts of her mother, Tanya, and her father, Krishan Kumar, can never be filled. September 6, 2024, marks Tishaa’s 21st birthday, and on this occasion, her mother shared a heartfelt video on her social media handle.
Tishaa Kumar battled with cancer and underwent treatment in Germany before the illness took over. She would have turned 21 years old on September 6, 2024. Remembering her daughter, Tanya Singh got emotional as she shared a video of Tishaa’s pictures and a long note which will break your heart into millions of pieces.
Tanya shared a video that included all the happy memories of Tishaa, from childhood to adulthood. The video showed the mother-daughter duo sharing an adorable bond and cherishing every moment. Apart from Tishaa’s baby pictures, the video included her grooving on a song and working out. In another frame, we can see her all dressed up for an event. The video also showed Tishaa striking a pose for a photoshoot.

Tishaa’s mother added the song, Tu Jo Mila, whose lyrics reflected the pain of a mother losing her daughter at an early age. Giving words to her sadness and wishing her late daughter a happy birthday, Tanya Singh wrote:
“My dearest darling Tish, Happy 21st. 21 years ago today, you came into my life, and ever since you filled it with joy, bliss, laughter, happiness, celebrations & unconditional Love. Thank you my doll for giving me the ‘honour’ of being your Muma. I am and always your mom and you my most precious, pure, beautiful inside-out, generous, caring, loving and full of life.. my one and only, you are the ‘Sun to my Cosmos’, the best daughter in the world.”
Tanya Singh, a former Bollywood actress who starred in Dhadkan, couldn’t stop expressing her feelings. She wrote that her life is ‘lifeless’ and ‘meaningless’ without Tishaa and mentioned that the mother-daughter duo will always be a team. She added in the note:
“Life is lifeless for me here with you there, meaningless & purposeless & so unfair. We were on a mission,a plan -You & Me, And We’re still ‘a Team’ we’ll still do it, ‘you& me’. Though, it was not meant to turn out this way, You are the strongest, bravest, coolest, always showering your light & love, night or day. We both know its the wrong ‘narrative’, there was no ‘prolonged battle’. Muma is all yours Tish, always will be to Eternity & Beyond, our souls are connected through the most precious Bond.”
Daughter of actor-producer, Krishan Kumar, and former actress, Tanya Singh, Tishaa Kumar was born on September 6, 2003, but passed away in July 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Many Bollywood celebrities mourned her death while the family requested for some privacy in the tough time. Tishaa liked to keep her life private and so, she rarely appeared in any public events. However, she did visit screenings of T-Series films. Her last public appearance was on the premiere of the movie, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
