Aadar Jain, the rumoured ex of Tara Sutaria, is ready to marry Alekha Advani. Here's everything you need to know.
Filmmaker Raj Kapoor's grandson Aadar Jain has again found love in Alekha Advani. The couple had an intimate roka ceremony on November 23, 2024, and will soon get married. Aadar was previously rumoured to be dating Tara Sutaria. The duo was seen together at all the family functions of the Kapoors. However, they called it quits after dating for many years and are now just friends.
According to a report by the Bombay Times, Aadar and Alekha have asked their friends and family to block the dates for February 20-21, 2025. This is because the wedding festivities will take place in Mumbai on those dates. The report also stated that the duo has known each other since childhood. However, neither Aadar nor Alekha have confirmed details related to their wedding date.
Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Aadar revealed celebrities' different takes towards relationships. He revealed some liked to keep it under wraps while others wanted to show off their romance. However, Aadar felt that everyone was different, so one could not do what others could. In the words of Aadar:
"If they want to hide something, they have their own personal reasons for it. If they want to talk about something that's their own choice, but there's no pressure that because some people are doing it, you have to do it".
For the uninitiated, Alekha knows Bollywood stars like Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani, Athiya Shetty, Krishna Shroff, and Prateik Babbar on social media. Tara and Aadar reportedly dated for less than three years before he found love in Alekha. Aadar and Alekha were friends when he used to take Tara to all his family parties thrown by his extended relatives. She reportedly referred to herself as the third wheel in their relationship.
The couple had an intimate engagement and roka ceremony, which their close family members and friends attended. He had a filmy way of putting a ring in Alekha's finger. Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Ranbir Kapoor were also at the special ceremony. Aadar wore an ivory-hued sherwani, while Alekha wore a pre-stitched ivory-hued chiffon saree. The intimate roka ceremony was held on November 23, 2024, in Mumbai. The pictures were cutesy as Aadar showed unconditional love for his fiancee, Alekha. Kareena and Karisma's dad, Randhir Kapoor, was also seen sitting and blessing the couple after their ritual. Aadar captioned the pictures as, "Forever & always.”
For the unversed, Aadar is the son of Rima Jain and Manoj Jain. He was seen in movies like Qaidi Band (2017) and Hello Charlie (2021) and was also an assistant director in Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma starrer, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. A while back, in September 2024, he took to his Instagram to propose to Alekha in a romantic locale in the Maldives. He proposed to her asking, "Marry me" and also had captioned the pictures as, "My first crush, my best friend & now, my forever."
