We are talking about Tollywood star, Nagarjuna’s younger son, Akhil Akkineni. Yes, the young lad is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Shriya Bhupal.

Shriya, a fashion designer by profession is the daughter of industrialist Shalini Bhupal and granddaughter of GVK Group’s head, GVK Reddy. Akhil’s ladylove has designer outfits for celebs like Alia Bhatt, Rakul Preet and Shraddha Kapoor.
Akhil’s elder brother Naga Chaitanya shared the news of his brother’s wedding. Here is what Naga said:
“Actually, dad (Nagarjuna) and I were shocked when Akhil announced his decision to get married. We didn’t expect him to get married at such a young age! Once he gets engaged and married, I will announce my wedding.”

A source close to Akkineni’s was also quoted as saying:
“Akhil and Shriya have been a dating for a long time now and have informed their families about their romance. The talk about engagement is too premature.”
Later, superstar, Nagarjuna announced that his son will get engaged on December 9 in their hometown only, at Shriya's home. Here is the first look of their engagement invite:
It is going to be a grand destination wedding in Italy’s capital, Rome, in the presence of almost 600 guests from around the world. The lavish wedding will take place in summer 2017. We are still waiting for an official announcement from the couple’s family about the wedding preparations and date.
Everyone was expecting Naga to tie the knot first. But we are surprised that the younger brother wants to settle down first. Naga is head over heels in love with co-actress, Samantha and is planning to settle down next year, after his little brother’s wedding. We are eagerly waiting for Naga also to join doubles club soon.
