On June 15, 2022, Ankur and Anuja tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding ceremony in the UK. They had a beautiful fairytale Bridgerton-ish wedding with a touch of Indianness. Ankur and Anuja's wedding was attended by 200 people, including their family friends and close friends from the industry. Pictures from their haldi ceremony are doing rounds on the internet, and the couple looked beautiful together. While Ankur opted for a white printed kurta and paired it with an orange coat and white pyjama, Anuja donned a beautiful marigold yellow-coloured embroidery saree and completed her look with floral and gold jewellery.
A close friend of the couple revealed a few details of the wedding. Talking about the majestic view of the gorgeous backdrop to the stunning decor, the friend gave in a bit of insight into the wedding and said:
"What took our breath away was the majestic venue - Hawkstone Hall. Steeped in history, the manor dates back to 1556 and was owned by the Crown (Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth I). It has witnessed wars to balls and had been a safe house for Roman Catholic Popes during the catholic- protestant conflicts and a convalescence home to injured army officers. The 88 acres of pristine landscaped gardens housed numerous Llamas for children to play with and we guests witnessed a full-scale Falconry on the grounds. Ankur made his gallant entry on a horse drawn carriage. We were enthralled with a Royal experience!"

Talking about the vibe of the wedding and the Indian touch to the English look, another friend of theirs opened up that the couple followed their Haryanvi and Marathi traditions at their wedding. Sharing it, the friend mentioned:
"They wanted to make sure the wedding has an Indian vibe to it. Hence the cuisine was Indian and there were Haryanvi folk songs/dances. There were also bride/groom games and English countryside activities."
For the unversed, Ankur had popped the million-dollar question and had proposed to his ladylove in 2020. It was on July 19, 2020, when Anuja had said 'yes' to be with the man of her dreams forever. And Ankur had shared a picture from their engagement ceremony on his Instagram handle and had announced it to the world with a cutesy caption that could be read as, "19 July 2020", followed by an engagement ring emoji.
Congratulations to Ankur and Anuja for embarking on a new journey!
