Coming to the weddings trends, remember in 2017 when Banarasi lehengas were trending all over the internet? Not only brides, but bridesmaids were happily donning the fabric. This year we spotted a bride, who wore a traditional red silk lehenga which has created a new trend.
Meet the bride of the week, Priya, who got married to the man of her dreams, Ricky in the year 2018 at Kew Gardens in London. For her wedding day, the bride donned a gorgeous red silk lehenga by designer, Manish Malhotra. It featured traditional motifs with a golden border. Along with it, she had worn a matching choli and net dupatta with golden tassels, making it a perfect fit for her wedding day.
Priya kept her look minimal for her day wedding and had opted for a simple choker neckpiece, matching earrings and a mathapatti. She had completed her look with dewy sheen makeup, nude lipstick and golden eyeshadow.
On the other hand, the groom, Ricky had donned ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's ensemble. He had chosen a beige bandhgala kurta with dhoti pants and a maroon velvet stole that reflected royalty. He gave his bride a perfect competition with his on-point fashion sense.
For their wedding reception, Priya opted for a navy blue lehenga with silver embroidery all over the choli. She had accentuated her look with a diamond choker and matching earrings. On the other hand, Ricky had opted for a grey blazer, white shirt underneath and a bow tie.
Their wedding video shared a beautiful glimpse of their 'happily ever after' and it became even more special with family and friends blessing Priya and Rocky on their auspicious day. (Don't Miss: This Bride Wore The Same Sabyasachi Lehenga As Worn By Deepika Padukone For Her Traditional Wedding)
