‘’The iPhone isn’t going to replace the DSLR but just enables a completely different experience of shooting. The kind of images that come out are somewhere between journalism kind of documentary and pictures that look like paintings. The phone also allows the entire post production.’’

He also believes that the iPhone is possibly a bigger revolution than digital photography as its camera is also a computer, which gives access to Internet and access to the largest library on earth- all in the palm of his hands. It is a versatile camera that opens a window of opportunities.

Further, on his experience on shooting an Indian wedding this big with his iPhone, Sephi says:

“Shooting a whole wedding on the iPhone, as much fun as it sounds, was actually quite a challenge. I was not trying to document everything, but rather focus on images that would later translate to the artistic vision that I had for the post processing’’.

But, the journey was not that easy. He further adds:

“Daytime pictures where fantastic, but the night still remained a bit tricky. The new iPhone 6s Plus camera is superb in terms of resolution and colour rendition, but low light photography was difficult, on the dance floor for example, as the ISO limit was not letting me shoot without having motion blur. I had a hand-held LED light to help me get proper exposure’’.
