Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were ‘a thing’ in the 2010s but they had soon parted ways with the reasons best known to them. In a 2015 bold interview with the GQ magazine, Katrina had openly shared that Ranbir (her then-boyfriend) may not openly love her at her marriage mandap! Yes, the 35-year-old star had revealed, “My greatest fear is that if and when I get married and I am standing at the altar or the mandap, he (Ranbir) may not love me completely. That he may not know his mind well enough to be making those commitments. The anticipation of heartbreak is my only fear.”
On her camaraderie with now ex, Ranbir Kapoor’s family, Katrina had then stated, “I am not as close to Ranbir’s family as I would like. But I would like to hang out with them more. Family would be a defining factor when I make the decision to marry. I am a very responsive person. So, if my partner gives me what I need, I can be the best girlfriend you can wish for.” (Must Read: Ananya Panday's Father, Chunky Panday's Advice For Her For The Link-Up Rumours With Kartik Aaryan)
In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Katrina Kaif had opened up about how she had planned out her life and how it has turned to be. Revealing the same, she had shared, “It was on my mind but it didn't work out and you have to keep following the path set for you in life. I don't stress about it now. I fought that battle and am at peace with the fact that some things didn't turn out the way I had hoped for. Now, I've left it to the universe and to God because I'm sure there's a bigger hand that shapes our destiny. What's happened to me so far has been unusual and fascinating, and I can't take credit for all of it. So, whoever is responsible, will look out for me in the future too.”
Katrina Kaif’s relationship status has never ceased to make headlines. In an interview with the Vogue India, the Raajneeti star had stated, "Often times, throughout my career there’s been such prominent talk about the friendships or relationships I’ve had in my life, so that when you speak or when you’re spoken about in the media it’s in the context of another person and with another person."
Post her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif had a lot of time at her disposal to think about herself. Speaking about the same, she had said, “What human nature does is that when we have something, or someone, to focus on, we can also shift a lot of our attention there, so we are not really forced to look at ourselves in any great perspective. We’re able to kind of shift a lot of responsibility—on decisions, for happiness, for entertainment and motivation. So now, when the sole burden of your life, what you’re doing, and your state of mind is on your shoulders because there’s nothing to distract you, that is a very intense time.” (Also Read: Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades Look Super-Happy Together As They Enjoy Their Dinner Date)
