Starting her acting career in dramas, Urwa has always been drawn to good scripts, so it did not surprise many when the actress dissed misogynistic Pakistani dramas.

A throwback video of Urwa Hocane dissing misogynistic Pakistani dramas has been doing rounds on Instagram. In the reel, Urwa is seen lip-syncing to the audio that says, Inko itna batana chahti hu ki jitna tum logo ke pass total dimag hai, utna toh mera kharaab rehta hai. It translates to; I want to let you know that that amount of total brain cells you people have equals the amount of brain cells that do not work of mine.

The reel looks normal unless one sees the caption and connects the audio to it, which states that she has read three identical scripts from different production houses, and each one said that their drama would get good reviews. Urwa further divulged the misogynistic plots of the scripts, which involves a damsel in distress, a narcissistic, toxic man, and an evil mother-in-law. Urwa further added:

“The story is, 1 glorified psychotic narcissistic toxic man, churail saas, a bechari girl and a passive aggressive vamp who keeps seducing the gut and rightfully so.”
