And there's no second thought about the fact that India is filled with so many inspiring stories. One such story is of Tilak Mehta, who founded his company, Paper n Parcels, at the age of 13.
As per multiple reports, Tilak became India's youngest entrepreneur, when he opened his enterprise back in 2018. Today, we are going to take a look at his entrepreneurial journey, which has inspired a lot of aspiring entrepreneurs across the world.
If the reports are to be believed, Tilak Mehta was born in 2006 in Aurangabad to his parents, Vishal Mehta and Kajal Mehta. From an early age, Tilak was quite creative, and he used to do a lot of creative work.
Talking about his educational background, Tilak was in class 8 when he founded his company, Paper n Parcels and kick-started his entrepreneurial journey. As per multiple reports, Tilak is in class 10 as of now (2023), and he is studying at Gurukul Olympiad School in Maharashtra.
For the unversed, Tilak Mehta's company, Paper n Parcels is an application that fulfils people's demand to avail hyperlocal delivery services in India's select cities. The application has joined hands with food delivery agents in Maharashtra, popularly known by the name, 'Dabbawallas', which allow users to book door-to-door services at their specific time and location.
Delivering items on the same day at a cost-effective price has made Paper n Pacels a hit in Maharashtra and other major cities in India. The application has been a hit and is available for Android and iOS.
According to multiple reports, when Tilak Mehta was in class 7 or 8, he couldn't get his books and some important assignments on the same day from a different part of the city. After facing such an issue, he realised how not having the same-day delivery is a major problem in a city like Mumbai. Hence, he decided to partner with Mumbai's famous Dabbawallas, and with the help of his father, he put his idea of starting a same-day delivery company into action.
Soon, in the coming years, Tilak Mehta expanded his company and entered logistics. As per reports, Paper n Parcels has around 200 direct employees and 300 dabbawalas, who helped the company achieve the target of 1200 deliveries in a single day. As per the information available in the public domain as of now, Paper n Parcels is worth Rs. 100 crores.

Apart from being a successful entrepreneur, Tilak Mehta is also an avid social media user.
