Life with your partner before you get married, is a bed of roses. That is because, you only fight over petty issues, like not reaching on time, not replying to messages, etc. It is only when you get married and start to run a house together that you realise the true meaning of marriage.

#1. Discuss the problem one-on-one

Do you feel you are the only one who is cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry, etc., while your partner is not pitching in to help at all? Instead of cribbing about it to others or getting frustrated, discuss the problem with them and tell them that they need to contribute as well.

Once you have the list in hand, divide the chores between the two of you. You can do it mutually by picking out the duties that you like or would not mind doing.

#4. And mutually divide the ones that are left

#5. Incorporate team work

Your partner may not feel well on some days or would be unable to do his/her part for the day.
