'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Dilip Joshi reportedly had an ugly fight with Asit Kumarr Modi in which held his collar and now the former has finally reacted to the claims.
One of the most popular sitcoms, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been making it to the headlines for a long time now. Now and then, the cast of TMKOC blasted the show's makers and producers for mental harassment. Some even accused them of mistreating the actors and actresses on the set. Recently, rumours were abuzz that the show's lead, Dilip Joshi, got into a physical brawl with Asit Modi, so much so that he even held his collar.
In an interaction with Times Now News, Dilips Joshi responded to the reports of his fight with Asit Modi. He cleared the air and stated that the rumours about his fight with Asit Modi were all false. He has no idea from where the rumours came up, but they are all fake. Dilip Joshi further added:
"I just want to clear the air about all these rumours going around. There have been some stories in the media about me and Asit Bhai that are completely false, and it really saddens me to see such things being said...It’s disheartening to see negativity being spread about something that has brought so much joy to so many for so many years. Every time such rumours pop up, it feels like we’re constantly explaining that they are completely untrue. It’s tiring, and it’s frustrating because it’s not just about us—it’s about all the fans who love the show and get upset reading these things."
Dilip Joshi added that it's really saddening that everytime a fake narrative gets spread and he and the team have to issue clarification. The constant loop of explaining things is tiring and frustrating. He also feels bad for the show's fans, who get upset after reading such fake reports.
As per a recent report by News18, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame, Dilip Joshi and the show's producer, Asit Kumarr Modi had a massive fight. Sources revealed that Dilip wanted to talk to Asit for a few days regarding his leave approvals, which the latter was avoiding. One day, Dilip couldn't hold it anymore as he felt offended by being ignored by Asit when it came to the leave approvals. The source can be quoted as saying:
"It was the last day of Kush Shah’s shoot. Dilip ji was waiting for Asit bhai to come and talk to him about his leaves. But when Asit bhai came, he directly went to meet Kush. This disappointed Dilip ji."
As the source revealed, the argument between Dilip Joshi and Asit Kumarr Modi reached a boiling point, with Dilip even resorting to physical intimidation. However, Asit's calm and composed demeanour eventually defused the situation, providing a reassuring end to the conflict. The source had no further information on how the two resolved their differences, stating:
"Dilip ji got very angry and the two got into a heated argument. Dilip ji even held Asit Modi’s collar and threatened to leave the show. However, Asit bhai calmed him down. We don’t know how to two sort their differences."
