Be it post-wedding dinner in Mumbai, or dawat-e-walima in Delhi, Kareena Kapoor, quintessentially matched her status of being a Begum, in both the post-wedding functions. In the Mumbai party, she looked every bit like a royal queen in an embellished deep red lehenga. And, she sizzled in a pink gharara paired with traditional jewellery at her Delhi reception. Both the outfits were designed by Kareena’s favourite designer, Manish Malhotra.
Instead of wearing a traditional dress, Shilpa wore a fusion outfit at her reception. She looked nothing less than a beauty queen in a gold saree-cum-gown. Genelia looked absolutely stunning in a dark peach lehenga by designer duo, Falguni and Shane Peacock. Straight open hair and uncut diamond jewellery completed her look. Needless to say, the actress looked utterly radiant in this attire.
Esha Deol wowed everyone with her Swarovski-embellished mermaid-style pink lehenga, designed by Rocky S. The emerald and diamond necklace, and earrings along with a diamond maang teeka, did complete justice to her attire. For her reception, the telly world’s queen, Aamna Sharif, wore a dark blue velvet lehenga with pink dupatta. A Manish Malhotra creation, the lehenga had a bold bronze embroidery on it. And, the actress looked truly stunning as she completed her look with heavy Kundan jewellery.
While most of the brides opted for some bright coloured outfits for their wedding functions, Urvashi donned a white lehenga on her reception party. And, she looked amazing as she carried it so graciously. The golden work on the red velvet border and her blouse were just enough to add a flavour of festivities in her look. With the heavy outfit, she opted for delicate jewellery and looked simply classy.

Virat and Anushka had two wedding receptions, one in Delhi and one in Mumbai. Anushka looked like a dream on both the receptions. For the Delhi reception, Anushka chose to wear a red Banarasi saree, designed by ace couturier, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She kept her look traditional and classy, with a neat bun, heavy uncut diamond jewellery, smokey eyes and nude lips. What grabbed eyeballs in her entire look was the red sindoor.
For her Mumbai reception, she decided to go glamorous and wore an ethereal lehenga in smokey grey, again designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She kept her jewellery light, makeup minimal and hair open.
Bipasha wore a stunning Sabyasachi creation for her grand wedding reception. After wearing red on her wedding, Bipasha wore a stunning embellished lehenga with long, front-open choli in the shade of beige and gold. She kept her hair open with soft curls and put her red lipstick on! We loved the way she gave a hint of green colour to the otherwise monotone outfit, with her kundan jewellery.

Unlike many newly-married divas who like to keep it simple, Hazel chose to experiment with her reception outfit. Hazel wore a beautiful lehenga in peacock-inspired hues, designed by JJ Valaya. The stunning lehenga in blue and golden had intricate gota and pitta handwork done on it. She skipped heavy jewellery and wore only statement earrings with the outfit. She kept her makeup nude and hair opened in loose curls.

We loved the simplicity of the outfit, especially the colour. She kept her makeup subtle and hair tied up in a neat low-neck bun.

After a secret wedding, Preity had a lavish reception in Mumbai for her industry friends. Preity wore a gorgeous single shoulder gown in red colour, designed by Manish Malhotra.
