Imran Khan and Avantika
Who’s who of tinsel town attended Aamir “Perfectionist” Khan’s nephew’s reception hosted by uncle Khan himself. Avantika’s family farm house in Karjat near Navi Mumbai was the venue for the engagement. The two have known each other for a long time and it was rumored that the guests received swipe cards with their invites to enter the wedding venue.
Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupati
The tennis ace tied the knot with Lara Dutta at at Sunset Point in Goa. The ceremony blended the glitz and glamor of Bollywood with tradition. "You are my companion, partner and best friend. I promise to stick by you through hits and flops and I look forward to growing old with you." Said Bhupati as he exchanged vows with this gorgeous lass.
Celina Jaitley and Peter Haag
Former beauty queen and B-town star Celina Jaitley married her Dubai-based Austrian businessman, hotelier and marketer boyfriend Peter Haag at an ancient monastery in Austria. “We had a beautiful court ceremony at a spectacular 1,000-year-old monastery in Austria. Peter selected the venue; It's one of the oldest monasteries in the world. The court judge came specifically for this grand ceremony and gave a touching sermon, followed by a beautiful champagne lunch." Said Celina when asked about her hush hush wedding.
Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap
Director Anurag Kashyap married his long time girlfriend Kalki in Ooty amidst the chant of holy hymns. Donning typical Tamil attire the couple looked resplendent with Koechlin dressed in a white and red saree with zari work and Anurag in a white lungi.
Gul Panag and Rishi Attari
The vivacious Turning 30 star arrived with her beau, Rishi Attari, a commercial pilot in a sidecar of a Royal Enfield motorcycle, adding filmy factor to her wedding as wel. She looked pretty in a pretty lehenga. The marriage party was a personal affair with Gul and Rishi family friends and selected guests.
Rumors are doing the rounds that B-town couples including Kareena-Saif and Ritesh-Genelia might tie the knot in 2012. What do you think?
