Ram Gopal Verma is known to handpick his heroines. He also loves to play Godfather to young faces. Of course, it all began with Urmila Matondkar. Urmila had begun her career as a child artist in 1981. Later, as she was struggling to find success as a heroine, RGV gave her a break.  The 1995 musical hit Rangeela, established her both as an actor and as the new glamour girl of Bollywood. Later, she worked in RGV projects such as Daud, Satya, Kaun, Mast, Jungle, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Bhoot and Ek Hasina Thi.
