Popular TV actress, Dolphin Dubey is single-handedly taking full responsibility for her 14-year-old daughter. However, she revealed how her divorce got delayed due to a heart ailment and other things.
The gorgeous actress, Dolphin Dubey is known for her role ‘Abha’ in the popular TV show, Udaan. For the unversed, she began her acting career by working in Bhojpuri films and serials since 2011. Then, she made her television debut with her stint in one of the episodes of the crime series, Savdhaan India. Later, she appeared in Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai Ajab Sa Risk Hai, Crime Patrol, Fear Files, Vikram Betal Ek Rahasya Gatha, Tu Aashiqui, Hamar Sautan Hamar Saheli and others. Coming to her personal life, Dolphin is single-handedly taking full responsibility for her 14-year-old daughter, Kamakshi. Now, she opened up about her divorce and the hardships of being a single parent.
In an interview with ETimes TV, Dolphin Dubey revealed that she got separated from her husband in 2016. Since then, she has been single-handedly looking after her 14-year-old, Kamakshi. Talking about the same, she mentioned that things were not easy at the beginning. However, she didn't want to let her daughter live in that unpleasant environment and said:
“We have not been living together for the past seven years. I have been on my own. There were issues and we were never on the same page. There was aggression and it was unpleasant, so I didn’t want my daughter to grow up in such an environment. I decided to move on. I am sharing this now because I feel there are many people who go through similar situations but don’t muster the courage to opt-out.”

Further, the Sasural Simar Ka 2 actress, Dolphin mentioned how she later explained things to her daughter, Kamakshi, after she grew up. Dolphin also mentioned that although the separation decision was not easy, there was no looking back for her. And she feels grateful that her daughter completely understands her decision. She added:
“It wasn’t easy, but I made myself strong emotionally for the sake of my child. She was just seven when we parted ways. As she grew up, I explained it to her and now she understands things. We are like friends now. Even if I have a small problem, I share it with my daughter. She never judges me for my decisions.”

The actress, who will be seen in the upcoming TV show, Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai, mentioned in the same conversation that she filed for divorce in 2018. However, things got delayed as she suffered from a heart ailment after this. As soon as she recovered from the ailment, her divorce was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sharing that she would once again file for divorce, Dolphin mentioned:
“We had filed for divorce but in 2018, I had a heart ailment, so the process got delayed. Later, when I recovered, the pandemic struck. I will be filing for divorce again soon.”
