Tusshar Kapoor Drops Video From Dad, Jeetendra's 82nd B'Day Celebration With His Kids And Grandkids

As Jeetendra turned a year older, he celebrated his special day very intimately with his kids and grandkids. And now, his doting son, Tusshar Kapoor dropped a lovely video from the same.

Jeetendra is one of the most handsome actors of his time, and has worked in a number of films, over the years. The veteran actor turned 82 years old but still looks evergreen. Now, his doting son, Tusshar Kapoor dropped a lovely video from Jeetendra's intimate birthday celebration with his kids and grandkids. For the unversed, Jeetendra and his wife, Shobha Kapoor are proud parents of their two kids, Tusshar Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor, who are again blessed with sons, Laksshya Kapoor and Ravie Kapoor respectively.

Jeetendra celebrates his 82nd birthday with Ektaa Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, and his grandkids

On April 7, 2024, Tusshar Kapoor took to his X handle and dropped a lovely video from his father, Jeetendra's 82nd birthday celebration with his family. In the video, Jeetendra was seen cutting a scrumptious mango cake with his grandkids, Laksshya Kapoor and Ravie Kapoor. On the other hand, his children, Tusshar and Ektaa were seen standing beside the three of them and adorably singing the birthday song. Jeetendra looked extremely delighted to be with his family on his special day, and the happiness was visible on his face. Sharing the video, Tusshar wrote:

“Thank you for all your wishes for dad’s birthday today! It’s hard replying to everyone but every wish meant a lot to him! #happybirthdaytoyou.”

Tusshar Kapoor once opened up about his bond with his daddy, Jeetendra

Earlier, when Tusshar Kapoor made a guest appearance on the singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, he had opened up about his bond with his daddy, Jeetendra. In the episode dedicated to the fathers, Tusshar revealed his equation with the veteran actor. Talking about the same, the Dhol actor shared that initially, he didn't have a friendly relationship with his father since he was an 80s kid. But Tusshar explained the amount of respect he has for Jeetendra.

In the same episode, Tusshar revealed that it took him decades to become friends with his father, Jeetendra. The actor even shared that he became close to his father after getting into the acting business. The doting son added that it was only when he stepped into acting, he started discussing things with the latter. Tusshar even said that his papa used to give him advice on improving his acting skills. Elaborating more about it, he said:

"He used to give me advice on improving my acting skills, however, the respect I have for him is irreplaceable, and I believe it will always be there. Regardless, I must mention that it took me decades to become friends with my father."

Tusshar Kapoor on becoming a single father

For the uninitiated, Tusshar was blessed with a baby boy, Laksshya Kapoor, via surrogacy on June 1, 2016. Breaking several societal norms, the actor became a single parent and once in an interview with PTI, he had opened up about the same. Tusshar admitted that he was apprehensive about the consequences of his decision. But it was his doting father who supported his decision, and thus, Tusshar could easily overcome his anxiety about whether society would support his decision or not.
