More than Ekta Kapoor, her brother, Tusshar Kapoor and nephew, Laksshya Kapoor are excited to welcome the new member in the family. The entire family including second-time dadu-dadi, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor are on cloud nine with insurmountable amount of happiness showering in their family.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, first-time mamu, Tusshar Kapoor revealed why they are reluctant on sharing 5-month-old baby, Ravie Kapoor’s photos on social media, “It is a conscious decision to keep baby Ravie’s picture under wraps; he is too small right now. We are a little conservative when it comes to flashing baby’s picture in the media. It would be more appropriate to share his pictures in public once Ravie turns a year old or above.”
While they don’t shy away from sharing 3-year-old Laksshya Kapoor’s photos on social media, they are quite disinclined when it comes to posting pictures of Ravie Kapoor. Tusshar Kapoor stated, “We just don’t feel comfortable exposing him to the world this early because once the pictures are out, it becomes viral and grabs a lot of eyeballs.” Speaking about how big brother, Laksshya is dealing with the little one, Ravie’s presence, Tusshar added, “Laksshya is very fond of Ravie and calls him ‘chota bhai’. But when he sees me holding Ravie in my arms, Laksshya feels a little jealous like any other kid would (laughs). Ravie gets excited when he see us around and has started recognising us.”
Ekta Kapoor has learnt more about parenting after watching her brother, Tusshar Kapoor raise his son, Laksshya Kapoor. Tusshar revealed, “She knows exactly how to bring up Ravie. With me and our mom around, she doesn’t really need guidance as such, but I often tell her to be strict with her decisions for the kids.” (Also Read: Kareena Kapoor Khan Finally Reacts To Rumours About Her Son, Taimur Ali Khan's Cameo In 'Good News')

Smriti posted a picture of Ekta with nephew Laksshya and captioned it as, “You brighten our lives with your smile, you strengthen our resolve with your support no matter what battles lie ahead, your belief that time will heal all wounds and do justice helped me sail through many turbulent phases, your conversations with God ... there are many ways for us in the Irani family to describe you but words won’t be enough. Happy Birthday @ektaravikapoor rockstar Maasi , anchor , friend”.
Even Tusshar Kapoor posted a picture with his sister and birthday girl, Ekta Kapoor and wrote as a birthday wish for her, “Happy birthday Sis! May the good forces of nature align in your favor, now and forever! #sister #familyperson #producer #love #luck #peace”.
Speaking to the Bombay Times in an interview, Ekta Kapoor had spoken about setting up creche in her office and shares her regret of not having done this earlier. Ekta had said, “I bring Ravie to the office frequently and he spends time with my team. I have a huge support system in my mother and my team, so whenever I get busy with meetings, they keep him entertained. He is only three months old, but he has made friends with my colleagues and it may sound unrealistic, but he recognises people at work. That is one of the reasons I have set up a crèche in my office. Even when my son grows older, the creche will continue, because it is important for working mothers to be around their babies. In fact, I should have built it in my office a long time ago. I regret not having done that earlier.”
After the arrival of Junior Kapoor in the family, Tusshar Kapoor had expressed his happiness in an interview with SpotboyE. About his newborn nephew, Ravie Kapoor, Tusshar had said, “Ravie is the second child in the family and it’s a joy. Honestly I haven't got much time to spend with my nephew as I was stuck with my work but tomorrow onward I can spend time with him and play. Frankly, I just can't wait for that moment.” Tusshar had also shared that his sister and newbie mommy, Ekta Kapoor has been devoting a lot of time to her newborn son, “Of course. Ekta is spending a lot of time with her son. It sounds odd for me to call her Ekta's son (laughs). It’s a new thing which I need to get used to. I just waiting for him to start crawling and grow up so that I can play with him even more.”
Tusshar Kapoor had also revealed that he feels that he might have inspired his sister, Ekta Kapoor to opt for surrogacy, “Ravie (Son) was her own decision but I may have inspired her; I might have been the catalyst.” And how the newbie mommy is performing her mother duties, Tusshar had said, “I think that is something she only has to get used to--- and she will eventually.” (Also Read: Tulsi Kumar Shares How C-Section Delivery Of Her Son Affected Post-Pregnancy Weight Loss Journey)
