Tusshar Kapoor is acing his role as 'daddy cool'. Recently, the actor revealed the positive side of the pandemic that has gotten the family closer.

The year 2020 is a step into a different world, wherein hugs are a distant dream and masked faces becomes a 'normal' part of our daily life. The pandemic has not only slowed our life and ruined our plans, but there is also a positive side to it. In the midst of these strange times, the families have gotten closer and thankful for the little pleasures of life. And Bollywood actor, Tusshar Kapoor has also found a silver lining of the pandemic. Tusshar Kapoor has been acing his role as 'papa bear'. There was a time when fathers knew nothing about their kids, but Tusshar makes sure he plays his daddy role perfectly for her little son, Laksshya Kapoor. It was on June 1, 2016, when the actor had gotten blessed with his baby boy, who he lovingly named, Laksshya, via surrogacy. Since then, he has been sharing glimpses of his life with his baby boy on his social media handles.
Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Tusshar shared how he is keeping his kid entertained and connected with the family amidst the pandemic. He said, "I have time in the evenings and that’s when I take my son down in our building compound. My parents also come down and see him in the evening, my sister (Ekta Kapoor) also comes with her son, Ravie. It has now become like a de-stress activity and a family outing which we all look forward to." The 43-year-old actor further added, "Otherwise, we don’t get the time to hang out so much as a family. I normally take Laksshya out in the park every evening where my parents aren’t there. This has given us a lot of time to bond with each other. My son is getting a lot of time to spend with his grandparents. A lot of good has also come out of it."
In an interview with MensXP, Tusshar had opened up on his fatherhood journey and had shared, "I always wanted to be a father that was my first inspiration. It was something that came from within. Then, I met filmmaker Prakash Jha on the trip to Tirupati. On that car journey on my way back from Chennai, we spoke about this idea of becoming a single father and how it is possible. He enlightened me about the process. I took a few weeks, and thought about it. Introspected and made a firm decision to never turn back and fulfil my dream of being a single father."
