Bollywood actress-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna has always spoken her heart out. From talking about her failed acting career to completing her Masters at the age of 47, Twinkle has lived life regret-free. However, in 2010, there were reports that Twinkle Khanna had danced for underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in Dubai. After so many years, Twinkle first talked about the same and took a hilarious dig at it.
Recently, Twinkle, in her weekly blog for The Times Of India, discussed the media's fabrication of stories. In one of the excerpts, she addressed the murmurs of attending Dawood Ibrahim's parties. Recalling the incident, Twinkle stated that her name flashed on the news channel's ticker, and it read that she performed a medley of songs for Dawood. Taking a dig at her own dancing skills, Twinkle stated that it is like watching a WWF match.

Further in the blog, Twinkle added that Dawood would have preferred a more skilled performer than her. She called it 'the world of fake news'. The excerpt from her blog can be read as:
"I have even seen my name on a mainstream television channel ticker saying I had performed a medley of songs for Dawood. Considering that even my children think my dancing skills are akin to watching a WWF match between a lone wrestler and gravity, the news channels should have known that Dawood would have chosen more skilled performers. But such is the world of fake news."
In 2010, during a press meeting, Akshay Kumar clearly stated that it was false news, which was telecasted only for a day. He added that no one from the team of CBI ever came to his home to check about their connection with Dawood Ibrahim. He had said:
Woh khabar ek hi din ayi aur bandh ho gayi, na mere ghar par koi CBI ayi, na koi police ayi, aur na hi koi hawaldar aya. Agar isme koi sachayi hoti to koi na koi ghar aa hi gaya hota."
Twinkle Khanna loves taking a jibe at her darling husband, Akshay Kumar whenever she can. In an earlier blog, Twinkle teased Akshay Kumar and compared his dance step with digging another oil well through the stage into Jamnagar soil. Further in her column as 'Mrs Funnybones', Twinkle revealed the reason for skipping the Ambanis festivities as her daughter had flu. An excerpt from Twinkle's note can be read as:
"He then performs a punching dance step that he repeats 33 times with so much force that it feels like he is about to dig another oil well through the stage and into the Jamanagar soil."
