Netizens noticed the expressions of Badshah when Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal sang 'Bairi Piya' from the hit movie, 'Devdas'.
Popular singing reality show, Indian Idol 15 has captured the minds and hearts of everyone. A while back, veteran Bollywood singer, Udit Narayan came as a special guest on the show sets. Netizens were not happy with the fact that the singer was called after his famous kiss controversy. However, now a clip of Udit and Shreya Ghoshal singing the classical hit song, Bairi Piya, from the period romantic drama, Devdas, has surfaced on social media. Rapper and judge, Badshah's expression has made netizens mock him.
For the unversed, Shreya has won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the track, Bairi Piya. It was a brilliant start to her singing career. As seen in the viral video, Udit and Narayan beautifully sang a verse from Bairi Piya and had the perfect jugalbandhi. One user wrote, "Badshah Be Like: Yaar Ye itne surile logo ke beech main kahan fas gya!!" Another user commented, "Badshah be like bina autotune ke bhi koi itna pyara gaa sakta hai!!" A third fan of Shreya and Udit penned, "Badshah is the dummy star."
As seen in the video, Udit is seen wearing a black jacket and shirt; he stood up from his chair to sing the romantic lines from Bairi Piya. Shreya was seen wearing a blue-grey-hued power dress. Badshah looked puzzled, seeing them both sing. Netizens who saw the clip also noted that Badshah was sitting between Udit and Shreya so that he could keep Udit at a safe distance from Shreya.

For all the Shreya and Udit fans, this clip is a treat. They did not expect the duo to promptly sing Bairi Piya. The song was based on the tragic tale of 'Devdas' and 'Paro' from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's hit movie, Devdas. It has been one of the most romantic tracks that has ever been made in Bollywood. It was on March 9, 2000, when Shreya auditioned for the song, and she was made to sit for her first recording. During an interview with the media, Shreya had stated:
"I remember I was asked to rehearse the song once before finally recording it. I simply closed my eyes and sang without a break. When I opened my eyes, I noticed a lot of excitement and chaos outside the recording room. Then Sanjayji told me I had sung the song so well that they had recorded it at one go."
Udit shook everyone on the internet when an old video of him went viral, where he was seen kissing a female fan. He was brutally slammed for the same and at the trailer launch of his movie, Pintu Ki Pappi, he took a dig at his own clip and the video of the same went viral instantly. Addressing his controversial kiss clip, he said:
"Khoobsurat title hai 'Pintu Ki Pappi' aur 'Udit ki Pappi' toh nahi? Yeh bhi ek itefaak hai ki yeh release hona tha, matlab 'mujhe'. Waise 2 saal pehle ka video hai Australia mein jo aap dekh rahe hai. Haan 2 saal pehle ka hai. Toh badhai data hoon aapko."
