Have you ever wondered what it is like growing up in India’s richest household? After ‘digitally’ witnessing the extravagant weddings and celebrations in Antilia, Lake Como Italy, St. Moritz Switzerland amongst other parts of the world, we all have been curious about the life inside Antilia. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani walked down the aisle with the love of her life, Anand Piramal, on December 12, 2018, and now, their eldest son, Akash Ambani is all set to tie the knot with his childhood friend, Shloka Mehta on March 9, 2019. The Ambani-Mehta families are celebrating Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s union with a pre-wedding bash at St. Moritz in Switzerland. The three-day bash with a Winter Wonderland theme is nothing less than a beautiful fete. While we are getting the glimpses of the pre-wedding bash under the hashtag, #AkuStoleTheShlo, we got our hands on an unseen picture of Isha Ambani Piramal chilling and dancing with the ladies as her darling husband can’t take his eyes off her! We can also spot Isha’s father-in-law, Ajay Piramal standing beside Anand. Here’s the picture:
In a recent interaction with Vogue, the newly-married Isha Ambani Piramal revealed that her twin brother, Akash Ambani willingly gave up his wedding dates for his darling sister. Isha had said, "Akash has the largest heart ever. He changed his wedding dates for me. He got engaged to Shloka before Anand and me, but he was like, “I’ll get married afterwards, you take my wedding dates.” He’s like one of the most—I don’t think there’s a word for it in English—“dayalu” humans in this world. He’s empathetic, gracious and gentle, just like Shloka."
Talking about her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Shloka, Isha had stated, “In fact, Shloka’s sister, Diya [Mehta Jatia] and I were in the same class in Sunflower and then in JB [Petit]. We have been best friends for over 25 years. Then when I moved to Ambani, I skipped a grade and went to Shloka’s class. So I’ve been like a third sister to them. I was thrilled with the engagement news. Shloka’s always been part of the family for us.”
The heiress of Reliance, Isha Ambani Piramal also confessed that she and her hubby, Anand Piramal are rather two different souls as a couple. She had shared, “He hates attending events, I enjoy them. I really enjoyed our wedding, but it was not exactly his idea of fun (laughs). He’s more spiritual than I am. But we are also very similar. We are both very family-oriented, and we both love food. I remember in one of the speeches that my father gave at my wedding, he listed ten reasons why he liked Anand. It was hilarious, and dad concluded by saying that these are probably the same ten things that he would also use to describe himself. And it’s true; in many ways Anand reminds me of my father.” (Also Read: Ranbir Kapoor Kisses Akash Ambani In Front Of His Fiancee, Shloka Mehta, Her Reaction Is Unmissable)
She didn’t stop at this. Isha went on to reveal the reasons that makes hubby Anand, a great life partner, “I love his amazing sense of humour and his spirituality.” The newbie bride also shared if work-life balance has changed after her marriage and stated, “Last night, we had dinner, and then from 11pm to 3am Anand had a meeting in his office. So, I don’t think his life has changed, and neither has mine. At this stage, work is a priority for both of us. And luckily, our parents understand that. Fortunately, the family I was born into and the family I married into have the same work ethic—every member of both families knows the importance of work.”
Sharing how involved she was at her wedding and why did she cry on her vidaai, Isha Ambani Piramal revealed in the same interview, “During the wedding my mom was CEO and I was chairperson. She and dad did all the hard work. Thankfully, we ended up liking the same things, so that made it a breeze. I didn’t go to a single wedding meeting. I was never someone who dreamt of how my wedding would be, yet it was wonderful in more ways than I can imagine. It was a very emotional affair for everyone in my family. I was emotional too but everyone around me would cry all the time. I only cried at my bidaai because I felt some peer pressure as everyone else was crying, especially my parents.” (Also Read: Akash Ambani And Shloka Mehta's First Picture Out From Pre-Wedding Bash, Both Look Like A Dream)
