Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen’s raja bhaiya, Rajeev Sen became mister to his girlfriend, Charu Asopa on June 16, 2019. Rajeev and Charu’s destination wedding, which took place in Goa was the talk of the town and it trended on social media like crazy. Soon after their wedding, the newlyweds left to their mini honeymoon to Koh Lanta, Thailand. All this while, they have been treating their fans’ eyes with amazing pre-honeymoon pictures.

For the ones who don’t know about how Charu and Rajeev met and love blossomed between them, let us tell you that it all started at their common friend’s party. Soon they met each other for a romantic coffee date, which lasted for hours. And the rest, as we say, is history! It was on May 4, 2019, that Sushmita had taken to her Instagram handle to announce the big news of her brother, Rajeev’s wedding to Charu. Revealing how she and Rajeev fell for each other, Charu had told the Bombay Times, "After our first meeting, we had decided to catch up again over coffee, but I left for my hometown, Bikaner. I was on a much-needed break after my show, Jiji Maa, ended. In fact, I hadn’t decided when to return. However, as luck would have it, I was offered Karn Sangini and had to report on the set the very next day. I texted Rajeev from the set and told him that we could meet for coffee. I had assumed that the meeting would end in half an hour. However, we went on talking for hours until I told him that I had to leave as I had an early call time the next day. We started chatting, spending time together and the rest, as they say, is history. I don’t know if I can call it love at first sight, but it looks like that.” 

When Charu and Rajeev were playing hide and seek with their relationship, a source close to the couple had revealed, “Yes, Charu and Rajeev are dating each other. Their relationship is very tender at this stage. Both of them are not ready to talk about their relationship in public as of now and are taking things slowly. They are really fond of each other. For the uninitiated ones, Charu was earlier engaged to Neeraj Malviya of Mere Angne Mein. But their relationship went kaput and they parted their ways. In an interview with TellyChakkar, Neeraj had talked about the breakup and had stated, “Yes, sometimes 2 people are meant to be not more than great friends. In my case, a majority of problems have been created because of the rumours. There were no tiffs of sorts between us regarding money or anything.
