Yami Gautam had surprised everyone when she announced the news of her wedding with Uri: The Surgical Strike fame director, Aditya Dhar. Love had blossomed between Yami and Aditya when the duo had spent time with each other during the shooting of Uri: The Surgical Strike. Ever since her wedding, we have been witnessing beautiful pictures of Yami from her wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies.

To announce their wedding, Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar had posted a picture from their wedding ceremony with the caption, "In your light, I learn to love – Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya."
On June 11, 2021, Yami’s sister, Surilie Gautam took to her IG handle and shared an unseen video from Yami’s mehendi ceremony. In the video, Yami looked stunning in an orange salwar suit as she flaunted her mehendi-clad-hands. On the other hand, her sister, Surilie had donned a pink salwar suit. With the song, Mehendi Laga Ke Rakna in the background, Surilie wrote, “Happiest Days.”
On June 5, 2021, Yami had shared some happy moments from her mehendi ceremony and had captioned them as "O dear one, why worry? What is meant for you will always, always find you." For the function, Yami had worn a self-work orange salwar-suit with kiran on borders. She had kept her mehendi design subtle yet beautiful.
For her wedding, Yami Gautam became the prettiest bride, who ditched the lehenga and opted for a traditional saree. Yami wore a traditional red saree with intricate gold detailing paired with the blouse that stood out for its floral motifs. Yami's bridal look was enhanced with a matching embroidered odhani, a regal gold choker set, maang teeka, chooda and kalire. Aditya Dhar complemented his bride in a classic ivory sherwani with muted goldwork.

On June 6, 2021, Yami had shared a couple of pictures from her pre-wedding ceremonies on her IG handle. She had shared pictures from her haldi and kaleere ceremonies. For her haldi rasam, she had worn a yellow outfit with a red dupatta and sea-shell maang teeka. For her kaleere ceremony, she had worn a red saree with a big nath.
Yami Gautam's first post-wedding look was shared by her wedding planner, Gitesh Sharma. In the picture, Yami had donned a green silk saree paired with minimal jewellery including her mangalsutra, earrings and chooda. Yami also wore aatheru with her pair of earrings.
