Uorfi Javed Gets Death Threats After Recreating Rajpal Yadav's 'Chote Pandit' Look: 'I'm Shocked...'

Uorfi Javed is getting death threats after she recreated Rajpal Yadav's famous character, 'Chote Pandit' from the film, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.

Uorfi Javed is known for creating and re-creating styles that are not easy to carry for weak hearts. Every time, she steps out in the city, she makes headlines. From donning cut-out dresses to creating an outfit from used cigarettes and whatnot, Uorfi proves she is the queen of innovating. However, the diva landed in trouble after she tried to recreate Bollywood actor, Rajpal Yadav's character, 'Chote Pandit', from the film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Uorfi Javed is in shock after she received death threats for recreating 'Chote Pandit' look from Bhool Bhulaiyaa

On October 31, 2023, Uorfi took to her Instagram handle and revealed that she had been getting death threats. It all happened after she posted a picture of her Halloween look, wherein she recreated the famous character of 'Chote Pandit', which was played by Rajpal Yadav in the film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Uorfi posted pictures of the same and penned a long note.

Uorfi bared her heart out and stated that no one had a problem with Rajpal Yadav as he portrayed this role, but everyone has woken up after she recreated it. Uorfi's note can be read as:

"Rajpal yadav se kisi ko koi problem nahi hua but maine jab ye look recreate liya toh sabko mujhse problem hai. I’ve received so many death threats, rape threats for no reason. All these so called dharm k rakshak suddenly woke up after I wore this outfit 10 years of bhool Bhulaiya movie! No color belongs to any religion, no agarbatti belongs to any religion, no flower belongs to any religion."

When Uorfi Javed was bashed by a random man at the airport

This is not the first time Uorfi received backlash from people. A few months ago, Uorfi was papped in a backless strappy green-hued dress at the airport. While she was interacting with the paps, a random man passed a mean comment. The man told Uorfi, "Allowed nahi hai aisa kapda, haa, India kaa naam kharab hota hai." This left Uorfi in anger, she yelled, "Toh aapke baap ka kuch jaa raha hai, nahi jaa raha hai na." The man didn't stop here, and said, "Yeh galat hai, India ka naam kharab hota hai."

Uorfi felt bad as this was unexpected. She asked the man if she is his daughter and told him to do his work. She said:
