She is an epitome of a strong woman, who led her life with dignity, no matter what the world thought of her. She is a single mom and has been acing her role since she was 17. Urvashi was blessed with twins, Kshitij and Sagar when she was just seventeen. But life hasn't been a bed of roses for this lady. She got married at the age of 16, after two years, she parted ways from her ex-husband.
Recently, Urvashi's kid, Kshitij and Sagar opened up on her former boyfriend, Anuj Sachdeva with whom she is participating in the show, Nach Baliye 9. The boys shared, "Anuj is a very nice person. He's perfect for our mom. Whenever he bought something for her, he would always get something for us, too. Anuj is like family to us, but we never questioned our mom about her relationship with Anuj. All we want is for her to be happy and if she is happy with Anuj, we are happy for her." In an interview with SpotboyE, Urvashi had talked about her family's reaction on her decision of participating in Nach Baliye 9. She had said, "They were extremely happy about it. My kids and my mother have been very supportive because they know whatever decision I make, as far as career goes, it has never really backfired."
Urvashi had once opened up on living a life as a single mother in an interview with the Hindustan Times. She had stated, "Being a single mother was difficult. People tell me how I don’t look like a mother and how I haven’t aged. It’s amusing. Why will I age? I am 37. Many harp over the fact that I had my sons when I was 17. But what is the big deal? I take these comments in a positive way. I am proud of my journey, which has been a long one."
The actress had also shared the reason for not marrying again, "People had me getting in and out of relationships. I read the reports and found them funny. I was once linked to an industrialist. I wanted to say, “Please introduce me to him.” Jokes apart, I was busy working. Being a single mom and taking care of my family took up a lot of my time. I had responsibilities and I didn’t have the time to think about my personal life. I have never hidden anything, so why would I hide a relationship? My boys and my family are my priority."
