After Nandamuri Balakrishna was slammed for his dance with Urvashi Rautela, the actress reacted to the controversy around their performance on the song, 'Dabidi Dibidi'.
Urvashi Rautela is one of the famous actresses in the entertainment world. The actress recently made it to the headlines for her performance in the song, Dabidi Dibidi. In the song, Urvashi performed opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna. While their age gap was the one reason they were being talked about, it was the steps of the song that left netizens to even tag it as 'vulgar'.
Amid this, a video from the successful bash of Daaku Maharaaj made rounds on social media, wherein netizens felt the actress was uncomfortable to perform with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The actor was called out for the same. And now, Urvashi Rautela broke her silence about the same. In a recent interview with the IANS, Urvashi shared that no success can be attained without scrutiny, and she also respects various opinions. In Urvashi's words:
"Success inevitably invites scrutiny, and I understand that discussions and varied opinions are part of the journey. Regarding the dance with Nandamuri garu, I respect the diversity of perspectives that come with any performance. Working with a legend like him was an absolute honour, and the experience was one of collaboration, mutual respect, and passion for the craft."
Talking about her performance with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Urvashi added that it was an honour for her to work with such a legend, and their collaboration was of mutual respect and passion for the craft. Going further, Urvashi remarked that working with the actor was a celebration of hard work, art, and respect for her. Stating how every gesture in the song was about creating something beautiful, Urvashi said:
"The dance with Nandamuri sir was not just a performance for me; it was a celebration of art, hard work, and respect for the craft. Working with him was a dream come true, and every step, every gesture was about creating something beautiful together."
It was back on January 14, 2025, when Urvashi took to her IG handle and shared a clip from the success bash of Daaku Maharaaj, wherein she could be seen dancing with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The clip featured the actress looking gorgeous in a gold-toned saree, while the actor opted for a blue-toned shirt with jeans. Well, the netizens soon started analysing the clip and assumed that the actress might be uncomfortable while performing the viral hook step of the song, Dabidi Dibidi, with the actor.
Just like other actors and actresses, Urvashi Rautela often faces the brunt of social media, but she chose not to pay attention to the same. It was in one of her interviews with IANS when Urvashi talked about dealing with criticism. She shared that the best way to deal with the trolls is to not deal with them. She further added that she has a too tight schedule to even look at the trolls around, and this is how she just deals with all the talks around her and nothing more.
