However, her response in interviews often leaves her in the middle of social media backlash. Recently, the actress was again massively trolled after she made an insensitive statement while sharing her reaction over the knife attack on Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan. The video of her interview went viral and several people questioned her intelligence. In a new interview, Urvashi Rautela shared her reaction to the same.
Urvashi Rautela is admired for her beauty and even represented India at Miss Universe contest in 2015. But, despite her charm netizens recently questioned her intelligence after she focused on her expensive watches while expressing her concern over the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Consequently, in a new interview with Instant Bollywood, Urvashi has now broken her silence on being tagged as 'beauty without brains' by a section of audiences.
In her response, Urvashi highlighted that even the most significant personalities in the country are not immune to criticism. She compared herself to superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, who get occasionally trolled for one reason or another. She was quoted as saying:
"The thing is… even the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi ji, and my most favourite superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, are not spared by people. So, you tell me, what can be done about this?"
Urvashi Rautela's response didn't sit well with the audience, and they criticised her for comparing herself to popular figures. One user wrote, "She is still out of the zone." Another netizen penned, "Showoff ki dukaan." A user felt she was making a meaningless statement again and commented, "Matlab phir which harkat."
Urvashi Rautela recently found herself in the middle of a controversy when she expressed her concern for Saif Ali Khan after he was stabbed at his residence by an intruder on January 16, 2025. While expressing her concern, the actress focused more on her film's collections, a diamond-studded Rolex gifted by her mother and a mini watch ring gifted by her father. Netizens trolled her for being tone-deaf in the context of the incident and Urvashi had to post an apology on her Instagram handle. Later, in a conversation with Filmfare, she explained that she had given the interview a little while after the incident occurred and was exhausted after a busy schedule. Consequently, Urvashi admitted that she was unaware about the seriousness of the incident involving Saif Ali Khan, which led to the controversy.
