Popular actress, Vaibhavi Shandilya got married to Harshwardhan and dazzled to perfection as a Marathi bride.
Popular South Indian actress, Vaibhavi Shandilya has acted in various films in multiple languages. She can surely act in any cinema and in any language globally. Best known for her hit performance in Sakka Podu Podu Raja and Gaalipata 2, the actress is on cloud nine. Apart from reaching the peak of her career with good movies in her kitty, Vaibhavi has reasons to celebrate. This is because she married her long-time boyfriend, Harshwardhan J Patil, in Kolhapur.
Vaibhavi was at her traditional best on the most important day of her life. It looked like she got married in a Marathi style as the actress was seen wearing green bangles, mundavali. She ditched the traditional nauvari saree and experimented with a light nude-hued saree. Vaibhavi and Harshwardhan twinned together and celebrated the victory of getting married. Vaibhavi shared the first pictures of her wedding and captioned the snap as:
"With the blessings of our family and friends, Harshwardhan and I have embarked on this beautiful journey of love and togetherness. Grateful for all the love and support—here’s to a lifetime of happiness! #happilymarried #blessedwithlove."
Earlier in an interview with the IANS, Vaibhavi shared that it was on February 21, 2025 that Vaibhavi and Harshwardhan got married in front of their family and close friends in Kolhapur. She also shared that Harshwardhan is a Bollywood cinematographer. Vaibhavi, speaking of her love story, shared that they both fell in love with one another as they both were from a similar film industry. She also recounted that the wedding was a total close affair that took place in front of their family and their closest tribe.
Harshwardhan had taken to his Instagram story to share unseen photos and videos from his wedding with Vaibhavi. The wedding decor of Harshwardhan and Vaibhavi's wedding was dreamy as the stage was decorated with flowers. He was also doing the perfect baraati dance. He also shared a cute video of applying sindoor on his bayko, Vaibhavi which was all things love.
Vaibhavi, earlier, in an interview with the Sunday Guardian, shared that Hindi cinema influenced her ever since she was a kid. She used to emulate the expressions, styles, and dances of almost every actor. In her words:
"I grew up watching actors like Madhubala, Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan, and Rajkumar Rao. Their journeys are so inspiring that they are the reason why I am working today in the film industry."
Vaibhavi is best known for her movies in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film domains. She made her debut in the Marathi film world with the movie, Janiva. In the Tamil film domain, Vaibhavi made her debut next to Sanrhanam in the comedy-entertaining commercial film, Sakka Podu Podu Raja. It had become a superhit movie, and she also did Server Sundaram, where Santhanam played the role of a cook.
