Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal have been the talk of the town for quite a few days now, courtesy their much-awaiting wedding. Varun, who had made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film, Student Of The Year, is head-over-heels in love with his childhood sweetheart, Natasha Dalal. And their wedding rumours have been hitting the headlines for quite some time. Earlier, the lovely couple was supposed to tie the knot in 2020 but owing to the outbreak of COVID-19, their wedding was postponed and now it is reported that Varun and Natasha are soon going to take their wedding vows. From childhood friends to lovers, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s love story is the most adorable one. When Varun had proposed Natasha, she had rejected him multiple times but he didn’t give up. Varun loves sharing glimpses of his personal life and on September 12, 2020, he had taken to his IG handle and had shared a lovely picture with his ladylove, Natasha. In the picture, Varun and Natasha had posed for the camera beside a pool. Along with the picture, Varun had written how Natasha is the reason behind him being fearless. His note could be read as “No I won’t be afraid just as long as you stand by me.”

Now according to the reports of PTI, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are all set to tie the knot on January 24, 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Alibaug. A source close to PTI stated, “The wedding will be on January 24 as per Hindu rituals in presence of family and close friends in Alibaug. The pre-wedding functions will start from January 22.” The source further added that the wedding was earlier planned for May 2020, but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed.

On Kareena Kapoor Khan's talk show, What Women Want, Varun Dhawan had revealed that he had met Natasha for the first time when they were in the sixth standard. Varun had then cleared that they weren't dating back then and were just close friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. Reminiscing about the time when he had realised he had fallen for Natasha, Varun had said that she was in the yellow house and he was in the red house, and it was on the basketball court. In the lunch break, he saw her walking, and it was that moment for him that he had realised he was in love with her. Kareena Kapoor Khan had then confirmed the couple's engagement by referring to Natasha as Varun's fiancee. Talking about getting married to Natasha, Varun had said, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long... I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, ‘This is good.’” Varun also talked about how the couple would have opted for a live-in relationship, but the Badlapur actor's parents want them to get married. He said, "Natasha and her parents have been pretty chill in that sense but I think after a certain period, you decide that you want to live with each other.
