She had looked gorgeous in a red ensemble and had kept her look subtle with a pair of earrings and red bangles. Natasha had arrived at Sunita's residence with her future mother-in-law, Karuna Dhawan. Natasha’s pictures had won million hearts and had made the couple’s fans pray for their wedding.
The pandemic might have had delayed many weddings, but we have also seen many celebrities taking a plunge. It is said that to join the list of celebrities, who did not let the pandemic affect their love are Natasha Dalal and Varun Dhawan. The two are rumoured to be getting married in January 2021 in a five-day-long extravagant event. According to a report in ETimes, the Dhawans and Dalals are preparing for a hush-hush wedding owing to the pandemic and have already sent e-invites to their friends and family. The wedding will be five-day dhoom-dhaam affair from January 22-26 in Alibaug.
While the nation is abuzz with the advancements, Varun Dhawan's uncle, Anil Dhawan has reacted to the reports in a conversation with the Bombay Times. Laughing at the rumours and calling them untrue, he said, "Wow, I am surprised. They are marrying this month, and we didn’t know? Are they going to invite us last moment? Itna secret rakh rahe hai kya (laughs!)?” He further added, “These stories have been floating around since a long time. Last year, there was buzz that they would be getting married in May. Whatever it is, as a family, we want him to get married soon. I feel this is one ritual you have got to do in time. There is no point prolonging it.” He also shared that they have been advising Varun to have an intimate wedding rather than a lavish one.
For the uninitiated, Varun and Natasha's wedding has been on the cards since 2019 but due to the pandemic in the year 2020, the plans were postponed. Earlier a Pinkvilla report had stated that Varun and Natasha are getting married this month. Reports had also stated that Dhawan had visited Alibaug to book a five-star hotel for his upcoming nuptials. A source had informed, "It's going to be a big, fat Punjabi wedding but with a restricted guest list, thanks to COVID-19. A list of 200 people has been finalised by the Dhawan's' for the wedding in Alibaug." (Don't Miss: Mahhi Vij Records Daughter, Tara Feeding Her Daddy, Jay Bhanushali From Her Plate On A Dinner Date)
Kareena Kapoor Khan had almost confirmed Varun and Natasha's engagement by referring to Natasha as Varun's fiancee on her talk show. Talking about getting married to Natasha, Varun had said, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long... I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, ‘This is good.’” Varun had then talked about how the couple would have opted for a live-in relationship, but the actor's parents wanted them to get married. He had said, "Natasha and her parents have been pretty chill in that sense but I think after a certain period, you decide that you want to live with each other. She and I wouldn’t have minded a live-in relationship but my parents wanted us... Because I have my own place now."
