As the release approaches, the preparations are in full swing, and the actor has reached Jaipur, which is the next stoppage in his promotional tour. The actor was at a promotional event when, during his interaction with the media, he revealed how fatherhood is going for him.
During the event, a press reporter was seen asking Varun Dhawan about his daughter and how fatherhood had been for him. In response to this, the actor revealed that his daughter, Lara, had eaten solid food for the first time today. He shared that he had never thought that he would feel so many emotions when it came to his little angel, Lara.
In a video that was shared on social media, Varun Dhawan was seen sharing his candid emotions on stage during Baby John's promotional event. During the Jaipur event, the actor revealed that when he became a dad, he had no idea he could feel all these emotions. Elaborating on the same, Varun said:
"Honestly, jab mai pita bana, mujhe pata bhi nahi tha ki ye sab hoga, ki ye sab emotions hotey hai. Log boltey hai an ki 'abhi toh shuruaat hai, vo teen maheeney ki hogi, phir paanch maheeney ki hogi.'"
Varun Dhawan shared that it was an emotional day for him, as he couldn’t be there with his baby girl, Lara, at such an important milestone in her life. He revealed that his daughter ate solid food for the first time, and he missed it because of his professional commitment. However, he shared that his wife, Natasha Dalal, sent him a video. For the unversed, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal welcomed their daughter, Lara, on June 3, 2024.
"Toh aaj actually ek a kind of emotional day hai kyuki my baby started eating solid food for the first time today. And I missed it kyuki mai yahan kaam par hu. Toh meri patni ne mujhe video bheja."

In the same conversation, Varun Dhawan shared that there are some milestones in a child's life that no parent wants to miss. He added that he never knew that he would get so emotional about missing them. Varun then made a lighthearted joke and called his feelings 'Baapta'. He said:
"Toh you know ek certain milestones hotey hai aapkey bacche ke. Jaise jab vo pehli baar boleygi, ya kuch khaigi, ya chaleygi. Har bacche key, so har pita ya maa jo hoti hai they don't want to miss that. Toh same. Mujhe kabhi nahi pata tha ki mai aisa banjaunga. I'll become one of those people. I think ishiko hi Baapta kehtey hai. Mamta ke baare mein suna hai ye baapta hai, I guess."
