Varun Dhawan revealed that his daughter, Lara has met Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's munchkin, Raha. He also addressed the possibility of the duo's collaboration.
Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are known for their entertaining friendship and on-screen chemistry. Their fans often compare them to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol of the present generation. Their lovable and goofy camaraderie, which sets goals for a platonic friendship, has also provided some entertaining moments. Now, Varun Dhawan recently split the beans on their daughters' bond.
Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, embarked on one of life's most transformative experiences, namely parenthood, on June 3, 2024. The couple named their daughter Lara and are yet to reveal her face, but the proud father often shared his daughter's antics in his interviews. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Varun Dhawan revealed that his daughter, Lara and Raha have met. In Varun's words:
"Raha And Lara have met I think. Lara is still very small but they have met."
Varun Dhawan talked about his and Alia's possible collaboration. He shared that both he and Alia have actively tried to find the right script to reunite on-screen but haven’t yet found the perfect match. Varun further added:
“At the moment, the thing me and Alia discuss are babies. That’s all we are discussing. We are discussing our babies with each other and what should be done and what happens.”
At a promotional event for the Dharma Productions film, Kalank, Varun Dhawan revealed a moment of tension with Alia Bhatt. He recounted a time when Alia, upset with his 20-minute delay on the set, stopped talking to him. Despite his apologies to the entire set, Alia remained silent. When asked how he managed to mend his friendship with Alia, Varun shared a humorous incident that played a key role. The incident occurred on the set, during a scene where Alia had to step on a carriage. Varun explained:
“Unko ek carriage pe chadhna tha aur mujhe pata tha ki ye giregi hi giregi aur girke jayegi kidhar, mujhe he pakdna hai. Toh, jab wo giri, maine pakda and Abhishek ko wo scene bilkul pasand nahi aya but fir tab Alia hassi.”
The sweet bond of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan could be seen at the promotional event too. After the latter shared the incident, Alia Bhatt smiled and expressed how she loved working with Varun. Talking about their bond, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress added:
“To be very honest, he is very lovely, and I love working with him, and he is very very close to my heart, and I have to say he is fantastic in the film.”
