Bollywood actor, R Madhavan and his wife, Sarita Birje, are blessed with a son, Vedaant Madhavan. While R Madhavan is a popular name in the Bollywood industry, his son is making India proud in the field of sports. For the unversed, Vedaant is a professional swimmer, who won a gold in swimming at the Danish Open 2022 in Copenhagen, among other accolades.
Recently, a video of Vedaant Madhavan learning to drive a car surfaced online, which raised many eyebrows. The star kid was driving not just any car, but a Porsche, which caught the attention of many. The video was shared by the Dubai-based driving school, Galadari Motor Driving Centre, wherein Vedaant can be seen sitting inside the supercar with his driving instructor. In the video, the star kid looked was dressed in a white T-shirt and black shorts, and he introduced himself, saying:
“Hi, I am Vedaant Madhavan, and today I am at the Galadari Driving Centre. I just passed my theory exam, and now I am with my amazing instructor to learn how to drive. I am driving this amazing Porsche and I can’t wait to get my licence.”

Vedaant Madhavan’s video of taking driving lessons in a Porsche has garnered over a million views within just three days. However, it has also raised many eyebrows as netizens are shocked after seeing the star kid learning to drive a luxury car. Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “Learning to drive in a fu**ing Porsche come on”. Another one commented, “So you are saying me that you are learning driving in a Porsche. Am I the only one who learned driving in a Maruti or Alto?" Meanwhile, a social media user commented, “An actual talented child of a celebrity, unlike others. So proud”. Check out the comments below:

R Madhavan is a proud father as his son, Vedaant Madhavan, has been creating history with his impeccable talent. On July 17, 2022, Vedaant broke the previous holder’s record of 16 minutes at the National Junior Record for the 1500 m freestyle at the Junior National Aquatics and established a new meet milestone. He proved his mettle in swimming and bagged the gold medal. Soon after that, R Madhavan shared a video of his son, Vedaant at the aquatic meet on his Twitter handle and expressed his pride with a note, which could be read as:
“Never say never. National Junior Record for 1500m freestyle broken.”

R Madhavan often documents his son, Vedaant's victories and expresses his pride. In an earlier interview with Brut, the actor joked that people come to him to talk about his son and not his films. Giving credit to all those videos from Vedaant's swimming competition which surfaced on the internet, he narrated an incident when some of his fans walked towards him and congratulated him. Though he initially thought that those congratulatory wishes were for his film, Rocketry, however, he later got to know by going into the conversation, that it was for his son. Talking about the same, he had said:
“I am really jealous right now because every time I meet people on the road in Mumbai, I think that they are coming up to me with a smile because I think they are congratulating me for Rocketry but then they say, ‘He not really got the silver, but gold.’ My assistants have a good laugh at my expense. I am trying to win this competition by shutting him off and keeping him off the press while I can."
