In a recent interview, Vicky Jain revealed how he convinced his wife, Ankita Lokhande to participate in 'Bigg Boss 17' and mentioned that trolling made them stronger.
Ankita Lokhande and her hubby, Vicky Jain, have been in the headlines ever since the duo entered the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 17. For the unversed, Ankita and Vicky tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in December 2021 and became a power couple in Tinseltown. The duo enjoys a massive fanbase, courtesy of their adorable chemistry and PDA moments. Now, Vicky finally opened up about being a part of Bigg Boss 17 with his wife, Ankita.
Before entering the show, Vicky Jain sat for an interview with The Indian Express and shared how he convinced his wife, Ankita Lokhande, to participate in Bigg Boss 17. While Ankita has been avoiding it for many years, Vicky told her why they should be inside the BB house and play the game. He said:
“We both are also fans of the show and watch it religiously. I told her that rather than sitting at home and getting invested in what’s happening in the house, we should be there. It was time for us to be here and play the game inside. Us being on the show is purely out of our love for Bigg Boss.”

Vicky further added that he and Ankita want to stay in the game till the end and also hopes that Salman Khan will declare either of them the winner. The entrepreneur also mentioned that though he and Ankita would be playing an individual game, they would definitely fight back if someone attacked their marital status. Talking about the same, he said:
“Honestly, that’s our desire but we haven’t really given it much of a thought. We want to take each day as it comes. But yes, we want to be the ones switching off the lights on the final days. We both will be playing an individual game but if someone attacks our marital status, we will not wait to fight back."
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have been married for almost two years now. In the same interview, when Vicky was asked if he fears putting their relationship on a public platform, he mentioned that they have always been an open book, so there is no fear. He also added that the camera would be on them 24/7, but they will never let the passion of the game die, whatever happens. In his words:
“Our relationship has always been in the public eye. Especially when you are involved in the entertainment industry, everything is out in the open. Ankita has always been an open book and fans know everything about us. So there is no fear. As for our marital bond, I think we want to move ahead organically. Yes, the camera would be on us 24X7 but we cannot be worrying about that right now. All I can say is that whatever happens, we will never let the passion of the game die.”

Ever since Ankita Lokhande made her relationship with Vicky Jain official, they have faced massive trolling for many reasons. Now that the couple is facing various challenges inside the BB house, Vicky shared that the past incidents have made them stronger. Mentioning that they have already faced all the challenges that life threw upon them, Vicky added that Ankita and him have been warned by friends and loved ones not to fight. Referring to the theme this season, Vicky Jain said:
“While I am a ‘dil’ (heart) person, I know that when ‘dimag’ (brain) is also used, that makes you dumdaar (stronger). Also, what has happened is way in the past. I think people have also gotten bored of it. But even if we come to face any new challenge, we will face it head-on.”
