Vicky Kaushal Learns Cooking From His Brother, Sunny Kaushal, Reveals He Can Whip An Omelette Now

The nation-wide lockdown amid coronavirus has stopped the entire entertainment industry, and there are reports that the movies that were supposed to release in theatres post lockdown are going to the OTT platforms. Well, whenever the name of OTT platforms comes in front of us in the context of Bollywood, then the actor that strikes in our minds is the Bollywood’s new heartthrob, Vicky Kaushal. The man, who is gliding high on the professional front and has already proved his mantle on the OTT platform too with his romantic film, Love Per Square Foot. That is the reason why a lot of people have their eyes on this young star of the industry, who has the potential to be the face of this industry in future. However, right now the actor is spending his time with his brother, Sunny Kaushal in quarantine and learning cooking and other essential kitchen activities. The actor revealed it all in his recent interview and talked about his birthday plans too.

In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Masaan actor, Vicky Kaushal shared his views on the current situation and revealed how he never imagined a world like this even in his dreams. He said, “I never thought that we’d be in a situation where things come to a standstill. Leave alone a birthday in lockdown, I never even imagined a lockdown before.” When asked how he’s spending his lockdown with his brother, Sunny Kaushal, the actor replied, revealing that he’s learning a lot of kitchen things. He said, “I can, at best, whip up an omelette or a bhurji. On April 05, 2020, the actor had posted proof of his excellent whipping techniques on Instagram as he had shared a video of the same. In the video, the young actor had looked dapper in his grey-coloured hoodie, blue cap and a perfect smile to the camera after whipping an omelette. Along with the video, Vicky had written a caption that could be read as “Make way for the latest entrant in the elite club of #TheOmeletteFlippers #chotikhushiyaan.” Take a look.

Moving forward in the same interview, Vicky was asked about celebrating his birthday in lockdown for the first time. On which, the actor revealed that he likes working on birthdays and if there was no coronavirus pandemic then he would’ve been working with the director, Karan Johar on their next project that is a periodic drama, Takht. However, he admitted that he’s not complaining and instead quite grateful for having a house to live in these circumstances, pointing on the sad reality that there are tons of people out there without a home. He said, "Look at what people, who are away from home or don’t have a home, are going through, including the frontline workers of the pandemic. By staying home, we can help flatten the curve."

Also, the talented actor revealed how much he misses the good golden days of his childhood when they didn’t have cell phones or cameras to record the home birthday parties and were free from the pressure to post them. He explained, “There were no cell phones to take selfies and record the event, nor peer pressure to post them. It was just about having a good time with friends.
