In a recent interview, Vicky Kaushal revealed why Katrina Kaif lost her cool during her first Karwa Chauth.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are the epitome of couple goals, and their mushy social media posts are proof of that. After secretly dating for years, the duo got married on December 9, 2021, in the presence of their family and friends. Like a doting bahu, Katrina has been following all the rituals after her wedding to Vicky, and keeping Karwa Chauth was one of them.
We have seen how Katrina has been observing fast on Karwa Chauth for the past two years. However, in a recent conversation with Film Companion, Vicky revealed a hilarious story about Katrina’s first Karwa Chauth. Recalling how she lost her calm, Vicky shared:
“I am okay with keeping a fast. As actors, we go through diet restrictions and all that so being an actor helps. But she is a Google queen. She asked Google when she’ll be able to see the moon. Google said 8:30 pm. I told her Moon won’t listen to Google, it will come when it wants to.”

In the same interview, Vicky stated that till the time Google didn’t predict moon’s time, Katrina was fine, but later, she lost her patience and started feeling hungry. Elaborating on the same, Vicky said:
“Google can’t predict the movement of clouds. That delay was there and she was like, ‘It hasn’t come.’ I said it’s not like I am calling it. It will come when it wants to. She was completely fine till that time that Google set, 8:30 pm, after that she was like now I am feeling hungry.”
In October 2022, Katrina kept her first Karwa Chauth fast and posted pictures from the same on her social media handle. The diva looked gorgeous in a rani pink-hued saree, which she teamed with a contrasting floral blouse. She accentuated her look with chooda, mangalsutra, and a bindi.

Lately, Katrina has been hitting the headlines for her pregnancy rumours. During the promotions of Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming movie, Bad Newz, the actor was asked about giving good news in real life, referring to Katrina’s pregnancy, to which the actor said:
“Jab uska (good news) time aayega, we won’t be shying away from giving that news.”
On the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in the film, Merry Christmas, and Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film, Bad Newz, is slated to release on July 19, 2024.
