In a recent LIVE session 'Khuda Haafiz' actor, Vidyut Jammwal, who announced his engagement with Nandita Mahtani, a few days back, shared the reason behind keeping it a secret for some time.
The handsome actor, Vidyut Jammwal, who rose to fame with his negative role in the film, Force is one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood. However, besides his performance in films, the actor was earlier in the news for having an ugly breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Mona Singh after dating for two years. The actor had led the headlines, yet again, when he was snapped out the Taj Mahal with the fashion designer, Nandita Mahtani.
On September 13, 2021, Nandita had confirmed the news of her engagement. Taking to her IG handle, she had shared their love-filled pictures had announced that the two got engaged on September 1, 2021. Alongside the picture, she had written, "Couldn’t keep him hanging any longer…said yes!!1-9-21." In one of the pictures, the gorgeousness could be seen flaunting her huge solitaire ring. Vidyut too had shared the same pictures and had captioned it as "Did it the COMMANDO way 01/09/21."

During a LIVE session with ETimes, Vidyut Jammwal disclosed the reason why he kept his relationship with Nandita Mahtani, a secret for some time. Stating the same, he said, ''A lot of people had already clicked our pictures at Taj because we wanted a specific angle. I had lost a friend and I wanted to take some time off before making the announcement. But the pictures were shared later. Some things are just meant to be. "
On September 4, 2021, pictures from Vidyut Jammwala and Nandita Mahtani's photoshoot had gone viral over the internet. Though the duo had not confirmed their relationship, the bid solitaire ring in Nandita's finger had stolen everyone's attention. As the couple stood in front of the symbol of love, the Taj Mahal, holding each other's hands, rumours of their relationship and engagement were ignited.

It was Vidyut's Sanak co-star, Neha Dhupia, who had at first dropped a slight hint about his and Nandita's relationship. She had shared their pictures from the Taj Mahal and had written, “Best news ever Congratulations @mevidyutjammwal @nanditamahtani,” followed by a heart emoticon. Though Neha had deleted the pictures, later on, the pictures had spread over the internet by then.
In an interview with The Indian Express, the Commando actor had revealed how his wedding won't be a regular one but rather 'spectacularly different'. He had told the publication, “Wedding is going to be happening exactly like this. It can’t be just regular. I’m not regular. I don’t want to do anything that’s regular. So I don’t have a date. I don’t know when it is going to happen, but I have an idea. It will be spectacularly different. Yeah, maybe we try skydiving with 100 guests, all in those skydiving gear and they’ll all jump with me. That would be so cool.”

On the work front, Vidyut Jammwal will be sharing the screen with the bong beauty, Rukmini Maitra for his upcoming film, Sanak.
