A recent clip of Vijay Deverakonda slipping from stairs while leaving a building went viral, and fans are concerned about his recent injury.
Vijay Deverakonda had an ‘oops’ moment in front of paps when he was caught slipping on the staircase while coming out of a building. While the actor was quick to get up and brush the fall off to meet his fans waiting outside, we hope that he’s not much hurt, as he is recovering from an injury.
It was not long before the video of Vijay’s slip started making rounds on social media through various pages. The actor’s team was quick to help him get back up, and Vijay dismissed it as he advanced towards the front door to meet and greet his fans.
Vijay aka ‘Rowdy’ was also spotted posing with his fans for photos, which indicates that he wasn’t seriously harmed by the fall. However, the moment was captured on camera and created a buzz online, with some fans worrying about Vijay’s health, considering his recent injuries.

For those unaware, Vijay Deverakonda is recovering from a serious injury he sustained during a shoot of his upcoming film with Gowtam Tinnanuri. As the film is yet to be titled, it is currently just called VD 12 until it gets an official name. Despite the injury, the actor continued shooting for the action sequence as there was no time for breaks, as told by his team. The team told the Hindustan Times:
“Vijay is getting physio and rehab because his shoulder hurts after he got injured during a fight sequence. But he’s still training for his role and shooting his scenes, doing his best not to escalate the injury further and pushing through the pain. There’s no time for a break on his schedule now.”
Vijay is taking measures not to aggravate the injury and manage his daily commitments through the pain. Those who know about the actor’s injury are quite concerned about Vijay’s health, despite what he tries to show on the outside.
Vijay Deverakonda is shooting for multiple upcoming films, VD 12, VD 14 and VD 15 with Gowtam Tinnanuri, Rahul Sankrityan, and Ravi Kiran Kola respectively. He is predominantly a Tamil actor who also made his Bollywood debut in 2022 through Liger. His most memorable work was on Sandeep Reddy Bhanga’s Arjun Reddy, which was later remade as Kabir Singh in Bollywood. We also saw his cameo as Arjuna in the pan-India film, Kalki 2898 AD. He also recently shared the first look of his music video, Sahiba with Radhikka Madan, sung by Jasleen Royal.
Vijay even shared some BTS shots from the film’s sets on his IG, urging Vanga to release the full cut for Arjun Reddy’s 10th anniversary. His caption wrote:
“Give the people 'The SandeepVanga #ArjunReddy full cut' for the 10 years anniversary @imvangasandeep! I cannot believe it is 7 years already, remember so many moments as if it was last year.”
We hope Vijay didn’t get hurt much and pray for his quick recovery from past injuries.
