At a recent event, Vijay Deverakonda was seen giving a hug to his rumoured girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna and their fans couldn't stop drooling over their bond.
The millennial chocolate boy of the South film industry, Vijay Deverakonda is the latest crush of almost every other girl. From Tollywood to Bollywood, his name has been linked to many leading ladies, and one of them is Rashmika Mandanna. Ever since the two had starred opposite each other in superhits like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, the rumours about their affair had started doing the rounds.
Though neither Rashmika nor Vijay have addressed these rumours, their cute camaraderie is proof enough that they are head-over-heels in love with one another. Rashmika is quite active on social media, and some time back, the stunning actress had hosted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session with her fans. During the interaction, one of her fans asked her, “How special is Vijay Deverakonda to you?" To this, she shared a hugging Boomerang and had written, “besssssst fraaaannnnd”.

Recently, Vijay was invited as a chief guest for one of the promotions of the film, Sita Raman, which stars Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. At the event, Vijay praised Rashmika and said, “Rashmika you always look super pretty”. After Vijay got down from the stage, the two were seen hugging each other. As soon as the video went viral, Vijay and Rashmika’s fans couldn't stop drooling over their bond and heaped praises on them.
The fourth episode of the popular celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan 7 had featured the South sensation, Vijay Deverakonda, and his Liger co-star, Ananya Panday. During the show, Vijay spilt the beans about his relationship with his rumoured girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna, and called her a 'darling'. The actor had said that he's very fond of her and added that she's a very good friend. In his words:
"We have done 2 films together and she is a darling. I'm very fond of her. She is a very good friend of mine and we share so much through films like lots of highs and lots of lows. A bond gets created. In films, you are put into close proximity very quickly and so a bond develops quicker."

In an interview with International Business Times, Rashmika Mandanna had revealed that Vijay Deverakonda was the one, who had helped her in recovering from her breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Rakshit Shetty. She had said:
"I was recovering from my breakup with Rakshit Shetty. I needed comfort and care, which I found in Devarakonda. I was struggling to cope up with my emotions, and it was he who lifted my spirits. He was the one who made me understand that there was a different world outside, waiting for me to embrace."
On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in Liger, and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming films are Goodbye and Mission Majnu!
