Talking more about the same, Vijay revealed that with whom he would work, that person should have done at least one film. He mentioned that the first film always makes room and gets the actor in the groove, which is why he wants to work with someone who is fully prepared and can exploit him. In Vijay's words:
"I don’t work with debutants now. At least, they need to be one film old. It’s a huge challenge to take up when you come straight on to a set. It’s a lot of pressure to handle budget, to handle scale. When they do one film old, all of us get better with every film, but your first film just gets you in the groove. It’s like warm and ready for me because when I come, I go all out and I need them to be fully ready to exploit me and use me. So, I don’t work with debutants.”
