However, the celebrity chef is going through emotional turmoil in his personal life after he lost an important person in his life.
The celebrity chef, Vikas Khanna, lost his soulmate and best friend, Radhika Khanna, on February 28, 2022, and the doting brother penned a painful note in the memory of his sister.

On February 28, 2022, Vikas Khanna took to his Instagram handle and shared a priceless picture with his sister, Radhika Khanna, as he confirmed the devastating news of her demise. In the picture, Vikas and Radhika can be seen sitting on a wooden bench and having a laugh over something. The frame speaks volumes about their concrete bond with each other and clearly explains the trauma Vikas is going through after the demise of his sister.
The celebrity chef, Vikas Khanna, confirmed the reports of his sister’s passing with a heartbreaking note in the caption of this picture. In his note, Vikas called Radhika his soulmate, best friend, and champion. He also opened up about the reason behind Radhika’s demise and revealed that she had been fighting against aHUS, renal failure and Lupus for some years now, and on February 28, she had passed away after she had suffered a multiple-organ failure. His caption can be read as:
“My soulmate left me today. March 23, 1974 - Feb 28, 2022. She fought like a champion for years with Lupus, aHUS, renal failure. But today due to multiple organ failure, my best friend passed away in my arms. Loveeeee you Radha forever & forever. RIP.”

A few moments back, Vikas Khanna took to his IG stories and shared a picture with his late sister, Radhika Khanna and penned a note atop it, and it can be read as “When you know that she is always there.” Vikas shared another picture from his visit to the hospital, and in the frame, we can see him holding his sister’s hand. The heartbreaking picture speaks volumes about the pain he is going through. Vikas wrote, “Never knew that Gods could be so unfair” atop it.
Vikas Khanna also shared a picture of a card with Om atop it and a brown envelope atop which ‘Sand of the Ganges’ was written and shared the news that he was ready for the kidney transplant. Vikas wrote a short note in which he also mentioned that he and Radhika were planning to visit Varanasi after their kidney transplant surgery. Atop the picture, he wrote:
“We were getting ready for transplant soon. I was the perfect kidney donor. Post surgery we both wanted to visit Varanasi. As I was apologizing for not able to take her home, Rabbi Benjamin walks with this envelop. As Radha couldn’t visit Ganga, Ganga Ma visited her. #mahashivratri.”
