Indian director and producer, Vikram Bhatt confirmed the reports of his wedding with Shwetamabari Soni and talked about his love story. Check out some priceless pictures from their wedding!
Ace director, producer and screenwriter, Vikram Bhatt has always been under the media glare due to his love affairs with several actresses. However, after his failed luck at love, he had given up on trying to find love again. But no one can turn down what is destined to happen, and he found love again in Shwetambari Soni. The two got married in a hush-hush wedding ceremony last year.
It was on October 6, 2021, that Vikram Bhatt had taken to his Instagram handle to share a picture with his wife, Shwetamabari Soni to wish her on her birthday. He had dropped a mushy picture, and alongside it, he had written, ''You turned me inside out. And you showed me what life was about Only you The only one that stole my heart away I wanna do all I can just to show you Make you understand Only you The only one that stole my heart away Happy birthday me love. @shwetaambari.soni.'' After his post, a report by ETimes had confirmed that he was secretly married to Shwetambari.

Putting the speculations of his wedding to rest, Vikram Bhatt himself talked about the details of his wedding with Shwetambari Soni. In an interview with Mid Day, Vikram shared how their love story started through a mutual friend and they got married in September 2020. He said, ''It was a private ceremony at my home, with her three sisters and my family in attendance. Even my friends couldn’t come. We had initially thought of having a [grand] wedding, but the pandemic [played spoilsport].” They had met for work commitments in an exhibition. However, even though the exhibition did not turn out to be successful, their love story did.
Going further in the interview, Vikram Bhatt shared the reason behind not opening up about his wedding with Shwetamabari as she has kids, and they were waiting for them to be okay. In his words, ''There’s my daughter Krishna; Shweta has children, so I could not speak about it till they were okay with it. Now, they are. At 52, what I have with Shweta is not a crazy love affair, but a content, happy relationship.” He also shared how Shweta gives him honest feedback on his script and said, ''I bounce my ideas off her as Shweta is astute with stories. She is honest with her feedback, especially if the story is crap.”

Vikram Bhatt also revealed that his love story was not at all filmy, but it was during his father's hospitalisation that he had realised he needed a more formal relationship after three years of dating her. He explained, ''My father was hospitalised at the time. When the doctor recommended an angioplasty for him, we gave the go-ahead. Then, Shweta asked me, ‘If this happens to either of us, who will take [the call]? A partner doesn’t have any rights.’ We realised that companionship was fine, but we needed a more formal relationship.”
A few days back, Shwetambari Soni had dropped a series of pictures from her intimate wedding ceremony. Dressed in a stunning gold and cream ensemble, she completed her royal look with layers of gold jewellery and a happy vibe. While one picture had featured her with her sons, the other pictures were with her sisters, who were elated on her wedding. Another picture was that of her friend fitting the toe ring into one of her toes.
On May 2, 2021, Shwetambari Soni had penned an appreciation post for her husband on her IG handle and had shared a picture from her mehendi ceremony. Alongside the picture, she had written, ''I just want to say I love you. In the midst of so much sadness, grief and strife I feel grateful for you in my life. Thank you @vikrampbhatt for being wonderful and perfect. #love #husband #Family.” For the ceremony, she was decked up in a glamorous pink and violet lehenga and looked absolutely stunning.
