The ever-so-dashing actor, Saif Ali Khan is soon going to be back on the big screen, opposite Hrithik Roshan in the remake of the iconic South Indian film, Vikram Vedha, by the same name. In the much-anticipated film, Saif portrays the character of a police officer, who is behind a gangster played by Hrithik. The trailer of the film has already garnered immense love and appreciation from the audiences, and if critics are to be believed, this film can provide the much-needed fuel to Bollywood films at the box office.
The film is directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, and the latest chartbuster, Alcoholia from the movie, has set the stage on fire before its release. However, the hype around Saif Ali Khan's character in the film is on a completely different level as some people are relating certain shades of his character with his role of Inspector Sartaj Singh, in the critically-acclaimed web series, Sacred Games.

For the uninitiated, the Pataudi Palace located in Haryana was rented to a hotel chain after the demise of the iconic cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. In an interview with the Mid-Day, the doting son, Saif Ali Khan had revealed how he had earned back the Pataudi palace through years of hard work. The actor had shared that he had collected money in order to buy the old house that has a lot of memories of his childhood and his father, Mansoor Ali Khan. He had revealed:
"People have a certain fixed notion. For that matter, even with Pataudi palace, when my father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi died, it got rented to Neemrana Hotels. Aman Nath and Francis Wacziarg used to run the hotel. Francis passed away. He'd said that if I wanted the palace back, I could let him know. I said: 'I want it back'. They held a conference, and said, 'okay, you have to give us lots of money!' Which I then consequently earned. So, even the house I'm supposed to have inherited has been earned back through money from films."
On the professional front, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in the film, Adipurush after the release of his upcoming film, Vikram Vedha, which will be released on September 30, 2022.
