Vikrant Massey has left everyone surprised by announcing his early retirement. The actor has won hearts with his acting performances in movies like 12th Fail and The Sabarmati Report. Hours after announcing his retirement, Vikrant graced the Balyogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building in Delhi for the screening of The Sabarmati Report. Moreover, it was Kangana Ranaut who also joined in and praised Vikrant years after calling him a 'cockroach'.

After attending the screening of Vikrant Massey's movie, The Sabarmati Report, Kangana Ranaut stated that it's a very important film to witness and it deals with a serious subject line. For the unversed, The Sabarmati Report has grabbed a whole lot of criticism and people even tagged it as 'propaganda'. But after all these tags, it has won hearts and grossed more than Rs. 30 crore. Attending the film's screening, Kangana Ranaut stated:

"It is a very important film... It is our country's history and the previous government hid facts from the people. The film shows how people played politics in such a grave situation back then."

Vikrant Massey joins the screening of his movie, The Sabarmati Report, after announcing his retirement

Vikrant Massey was also present at the screening of the film. Talking about the same to ANI, the actor mentioned that it was the highest point of his career as he got to watch the same with the PM. Vikrant further added that he watched the movie with the PM, other MPs, and cabinet ministers, and thus, it was really special for him, which couldn't be described in words. In Vikrant's words:

"I watched the film with Prime Minister and all cabinet ministers and many MPs. It was a special experience. I will still not be able to express it in words because I am so happy... This is the highest point of my career that I got to watch my film with the Prime Minister."

When Kangana Ranaut called Vikrant Massey a 'cockroach' and he reacted

It was after Yami Gautam dropped a series of wedding photos on her IG handle that Vikrant Massey, in a funny way, pulled her leg and commented, "Pure and pious like Radhe Maa.” It didn't go down well with Kangana Ranaut, who is from Himachal. She replied to Vikrant's comment and called him a 'cockroach'. She penned:

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Vikrant Massey was asked about Kangana's comment. To this, he said that he doesn't pay much attention to the same, and tries to be at a distance from the toxicity. He further added that he doesn't use Twitter that much, and thus, what he feels to be right is to be ignorant about all this noise. He further called social media the worst public discourse platform and cited a quote about his favourite Roman emperor.

It was on December 2, 2024, when Vikrant Massey took to his IG handle and announced his early retirement. He mentioned how all these years have been phenomenal for him, and he's blessed for the support he got. The actor added that while moving forward in his life, he felt that it was time to recalibrate and be with his family as a father, son, and husband.
