Vikrant Massey has credited his wife, Sheetal for his luck factor, amid announcing that he would be retiring from the acting world.
During Karwa Chauth 2024, Vikrant Massey took to his Instagram handle to post pictures, where he was seen touching his wife Sheetal's feet. Then, after a few days, the actor took to his Instagram handle to announce that he would reportedly retire from acting at 37. However, he also clarified that he would be taking a hiatus. Now, at the Indian Economic Conclave, the actor revealed how his wife, Sheetal was lucky for him and helped him get fame.
Vikrant has been in the industry for more than two decades now. At the Times Network India Economic Conclave presented by IDFC FIRST Bank, with National Leaders and Global Experts, the 37-year-old actor credited his wife for bringing good fortune in his life. He spoke in the interview about the reason for touching Sheetal's feet and how she deserved respect. However, interestingly, the actor would be bidding adieu to acting for a while after completing two films in 2025. Vikrant added:
"I believe she's truly the Laxmi for me. She's brough fame and good things is my life. Why can't I give her the same respect that she gives me?"
The Balika Vadhu actor has worked in many movies on TV and OTT shows. His performance in 12th Fail could never be forgotten. The actor, who was also loved for his recent performances in The Sabarmati Report and Sector 36, would bid goodbye to the acting world for a while. Vikrant took to his Instagram handle to write a long note about leaving the acting industry. His note read:
"Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time.Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted!”
Vikrant and Sheetal were blessed with a baby boy on February 7, 2024. The actor, in the same interview with Times Now Digital said that he was seeing that his son was growing up quickly. He wanted to see that, go back home and do the household tasks. He also said that he did not want to miss his son's important milestones. In the words of the actor:
"My son started saying 'Papa' in my absence, he got his first tooth in my absence. It is true when people said "they grow up so fast!" Now he's attempting to walk. If he doesn't learn to walk holding my finger, what's the use of this money, fame? I want to spend that time with him."
On the professional front, the actor is now working on two movies namely, Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. He rose to fame with his role in Balika Vadhu and with 12th Fail, his career shot up instantly.
