Vineet Kumar Singh Reveals Struggling Since Alia Bhatt Was On Mahesh Bhatt's Lap, 'I Am Still..'

Actor, Vineet Kumar Singh shared that he has been struggling since the time when Alia Bhatt was a baby.

Vineet Kumar Singh shares his struggles since Alia Bhatt was a kid

Vineet Kumar Singh's struggles have been going on for a long time. An interview with the actor went viral on Reddit, where he shared that he had been in Mumbai for 21 years. However, despite that, he does not have his own house to this date. He has been doing everything but has not yet purchased his own house. Vineet remembered that he was struggling since Alia Bhatt was a tiny tot and used to sit on Mahesh Bhatt's lap. Vineet, in the interview, remembered doing Dhokha with Mahesh Bhatt. In his words:

"There was a phase in between when, for a year, I had gone to Banaras. I couldn’t understand why. It had been quite some time, seven or eight years, and nothing significant was happening. We were heading to shoot, I think, in Udaipur. At that time, Alia used to sit in Mahesh Bhatt sir’s lap because she was very young. Even back then, I was struggling, and I am still struggling today."

Vineet then revealed in the interview that Alia is a fantastic actor, but things change if one gets an opportunity at the right time. In the same interview, he also shared that he was never running away from the struggle. Yet, he couldn't help but wonder how long the struggle would go on. He wanted to do good work, be part of good films, work with good directors, and collaborate with good producers.

Vineet Kumar opens up on the nepotism debate

Vineet even shared in the interview that he had always worked with honesty. However, there have been times when he did miss out on opportunities. He even said that Alia was fortunate, talented, and worked very hard. Vineet also appreciated Ranbir's work and shared that he used to text him directly whenever he watched the actor's work.

Vineet Kumar shares he has respect for Alia Bhatt

Speaking on the nepotism debate, Vineet, in the interview with Bollywood Bubble, shared having mutual respect for Alia and the other stars. He said that many people are really good, but everyone has their own sets of struggle. Talking of the insider and outsider debate, Vineet noted:

"If you’ve come from outside, you have to fight those battles. And the people who are making films, the makers or directors, they have their own dreams. They want to work with someone they prefer. I just hope that someday, I am worthy enough for my name to come up in their preferences."
